Stayed here on a Saturday night 12/07/25 arrived at 11.30pm, paid via PayByPhone (£15) and found a space easily in our converted Peugeot boxer van that took up one space. That gave us until 9am on Sunday morning and we used the public toilets nearby the next morning. Felt safe even though it was city centre due to being directly next to a police station.
Now asking for £15 per night but you were allowed to take two spaces for that. We didn’t need 2 spaces but I couldn’t see a cheaper price. If you wanted to add on a period in the day, it was £1.50 for one hour or £2.50 for two. Prices seemed excessive and the car park was busy when we looked…we moved on and didn’t stay.

Large, slightly sloping. Pay by COINS or Ringo. But Ringo would not recognise the overnight option. Useless. Fortunately the Co-op, 50yds over the footbridge from the long stay carpark gave me change. Some traffic noise but otherwise quiet overnight. Great that a local authority is making some provision so I was happy to support it.
Excellent park up spot. Leisure centre next door for morning shower. Tesco a two minute walk away. Nice quiet park. Busy in the morning. Definitely recommended.
