I have to say this is a great place to be when it is blowing a gale! I just drove here at 2am because I felt unsafe where I was thank you so much <3
Parking assez grand à côté du port. Parking gratuit avec toilettes au bout du parking. Quelques autres camping-cars étaient également garés ici près de nous. À quelques pas de la rue principale de Stromness avec le musée et les pubs à proximité.
Fairly large carpark next to the harbour. Free parking with toilets at the end of the carpark. A few other motorhomes were also parked here near us. Short walk to the highstreet of Stromness with the museum and pubs close by.
Ziemlich großer Parkplatz neben dem Hafen. Kostenlose Parkplätze mit Toiletten am Ende des Parkplatzes. Auch ein paar andere Wohnmobile standen hier in unserer Nähe. Kurzer Spaziergang zur Highstreet von Stromness mit dem Museum und Pubs in der Nähe.

michelynn23/09/2024we parked our 7 m motorhome here and stayed overnight the night before we were taking the 6:30 am ferry. bathroom was clean albeit chilly because it was not heated. if you're uncomfortable with wild camping try the B&B option on the ferry. you spend the night in a cabin on the ferry and they move your vehicle on in the morning so you can sleep in.

clairchen7328/06/2024Der Parkplatz an sich ist in Ordnung. Aber die öffentlichen Toiletten nebenan waren so dreckig, da wollten wir dann nicht mehr parken. Und die Toiletten im Ferry Terminal sind dann doch ein paar Meter weg. Wir haben uns dann spät auf den Kurzzeitparkplatz am Hafen gestellt und waren morgens wieder weg wenn man zahlen muss.

Delf6729/07/2023Super pratique entre le coop pour les courses et Northlink pour les douches 3 étoiles à 1 £ et les WC… Bruyant au petit matin forcément, avec l’arrivée des voitures prenant le ferry.

Very good for spending the night in Stromness. Good phone reception, toilets close by, and the town is worth exploring.

Parking qui remplit bien sa fonction, surtout lorsque vous débarquez du ferry à 1h du matin. Toilettes publiques. Supermarché Coop à proximité.

Parcheggio vicino al centro e molto comodo se si deve prendere il traghetto alla mattina presto (noi avevamo l'imbarco alle 5.45)

Great place to stop for the night if you’re in stromness. Worth noting there is a coin operated laundry and showers at the ferry building 200 yards down the road.
