Beautiful place, the car park now says 2 spaces for overnight, the very friendly gentleman in small shop beside car park said, don't worry about old sign saying campervans can't stay, the parking spot is community owned and they welcome you as long as you keep it clean. Pub restaurant staff were brilliant, very welcoming.

Good for day spot, sign states : No sleeping in vehicle allowed 11pm to 7am

STUNNING! Quiet spot. very idyllic. Tidal loch, can walk along it. Post office & small shop Book exchange too. Bring a book & leave it. For stargazers, milkway was overhead. Had a very peaceful overnight. No amenities so keep it clean.

Great location, peaceful night. Pub nearby plus small shop. Bins available. Lovely circular walk to Donich waterfalls.

  • 4/5

Peaceful spot but an open area off of the main road through the village, great restaurants and bars within walking distance

Beautiful area at the bottom of a long and steep single track road from the Rest and Be Thankful. I prefer a more isolated spot, there are houses very close by and a few people milling about in evening and morning. Handy toilets a short walk from carpark but unfortunately pub was shut but I was out of season.

Such a lovely spot, overlooking the head of Loch Goil, with hills & forests all around you. There are two nice flat tarmaced overnight parking spots right at the waterfront - perfect for almost any size of motorhome. Its a small village, with a post office/small shop selling basic goods. There is also a hotel - bar was open but not the restaurant. Narrow road but with plenty of passing places

What a lovely park up 2 overnight bays marked in nice flat car park with stunning views local post office nice pub and a nice pop up gin bar from 1-7 with live music 4-6 and a pop up street food bar so peaceful and quiet great dog walking and right on the beach and small harbour/ boat pontoon

Fantastic stopover, views are stunning. There are 2 spaces although there was a large Fiat camper in one space that didn’t have anyone in it, maybe it’s a local resident. So quiet on a night. No charge for parking but I wouldn’t mind if they did. We had a few drinks in the local pub. Great toilets just up a side road, (it’s sign posted from the road.) Great launch point for paddle boarding.

It’s an interesting drive to this park up, with unusual single lane roads which was no problem for us in our T5 but for big motorhomes it could potentially be a bit more challenging, although there are plenty of passing spots. We arrived about 8.30pm on Tuesday 29th August worried it might be full, but it was empty! Had a delightful spot in the designated overnight camping bay. It was so quiet in the evening and throughout the night. We were able to open our back doors so that we could look out on to Loch Goilhead whilst sipping our morning coffee. It was bliss!! There are very handy bins including recycling bins. Went to the Boatshed Café (7 min drive) which was beautiful with very friendly staff. We hope to be back to this beautiful area again!

Lovely spot - very quiet in the Wed night we stopped (pub seemed shut). No traffic overnight. Amazing views down the loch

A little gem, car park at top of loch, as stated before 2 parking spots signed overnight, another couple parked in a small discrete camper a few spaces away . Toilet 3 minutes walk from park up, contribution’s appreciated. Road in is steep single track road with good tarmac. Please keep this place clean it would be a shame to lose it.

Great spot in town center, toilet and pup just a 2 min walk away.

Great spot for an overnight. Toilets nearby with donation box.

  • 5/5

Lovely view with access to a sandy beach and the loch. The pub across the road serves lovely food and drinks until late. Quite a good atmosphere on livelier nights. There are two marked bays for motor homes but others were parked in the normal car parking spaces too. Quiet area and respect should be given to local residents.

Two large slots on a car park facing the Loch in a beautiful village. The slots are marked overnight parking but there is a sign up saying about no over night parking, we went to the Post office and made a donation to the Mountain Rescue to stay overnight. Lovely spot but don't abuse it as we were told that people have in the past and things may well change.

  • 3/5

A beautiful spot although there is a sign which states no sleeping in a vehicle overnight. This is confusing as there are two large laybys marked 'overnight'. Friday night the car park was filled with motorhomes. Most arrived late and left early, fair enough, but we need to respect this spot. A very small community with lots of residential homes nearby.

Great we spot and the local pub has just reopened so it’s all good. Take it easy when on the single track road as the locals don’t hang about.

Great view and level, dedicated spaces by the loch. Two campers turned up later and just parked next to the spaces - no problem. Road was steep, narrow and windy on the way there and back. Not for massive mohos - ours is 6.5m and that was alright.
