Great place to spend the night, the bar is very nice and the atmosphere is lovely, unfortunately the neighbors probably don’t like the idea of camper vans next to their houses because at 7am they placed a speaker in front of us with loud music intentionally to wake us up, and they , we know it was intentional because the speaker was in the garden looking towards us.
Visited on Saturday. Very close to the park, shopping street & steam train. Called day before to ok arriving early. On parking met a lovely gentleman who was watering the flowers, gave good local advice.We (2ad 2ch) went into the club at 7.30pm to pay and get a drink and play pool. Adults only after 9pm which I wholly agree with but patrons didn't seem too keen we were in there before this time.
Very quiet night once the pub closes and the staff is friendly, nice spot, recommended.
stayed again last night for the 40s weekend ,a lot busier than last time 10 other motorhomes on but the chap gets you settled on fine door open to pub and toilet all day . and it's £10 a night .well worth the money . great club great entertainment.
