Nice place, very clean hot showers, kitchen was clean as well. No hairdryer (which might be handy for women after a shower in the evening after a day of hiking or riding a bike so you don't have to go to sleep with wet hair). We used our own hairdryer, but got a remark because of that. Even though this and other remarks where well intended, we felt a bit watched because of this.

Sehr guter Campingplatz direkt an den Dünen. Dave und seine Crew sind sehr freundlich. Die sanitäre Anlagen gut und sehr sauber. Der Aufenthaltsraum mit allem notwendigen ausgestattet. Jederzeit wieder.

Lovely welcome from Dave, very funny man. facilities very new, clean and well kept. Very rainy when we arrived but I’m sure the area is very pretty.

Lardydog doesn’t understand Dave’s sardonic sense of humour. The owner’s run a lovely site. Everything works and facilities are clean. We’re pleased to have stopped there.

No longer £8 per person. Made out like he wasn’t allowed to have small vans onsite and that he was doing me a favour…then asked for £20 for a night for one person in a Berlingo type van…No thanks.

A nice enough campground but chaotic. I booked online, arrived, and they allocated me a pitch. Then the man came by to say sorry, wrong pitch, please move. I did. But I was only there a night and the original pitch (as well as 3/4 of the rest) were empty all night anyway. Showers clean but the shower head is fixed to the wall. Notices everywhere: do this, don’t do that. Bit of a gulag feeling.

I was very glad. Hosts are useful. Toilets, showers above average clean. Good price for 2person and tent.

We have stayed 4 nights here in our motor home, it’s a very good well equipped and clean campsite for tents, motor homes. Dave and his family run the site very professionally. They are friendly, helpful and are always available on site. There are shops north & south of the campsite, also the North Uist Gin Distillery is just up the road.
