A lovely spend the day location. Picnic area, dog waste bins, plenty of space to park and loads of good walks. Shame about no overnight parking (minus a star) but can’t fault it otherwise. Some decent overnight stops close along the ridgeway. Single lane up a hill to entrance but passing points and used by trucks so enough space. Ok signal on 3. Will return.

Clear signs stating no overnight camping or parking. Not suitable for overnight.
Nice sheltered place with fantastic views. We stayed here very early December and the parking was free this time of year. The other spot further up is for disabled badge holders only so you must use this spot if you don’t have a blue badge.
