Wirklich schön und ruhig gelegen. Fläche zum Stehen war gerade, so dass wir eine erholte Nacht und einen tollen Morgen genießen konnten.
Netz nur bedingt vorhanden.

Superbe endroit, mini plage au milieu des canards et des moutons. Nous avons passé une super nuit au calme. Il y a effectivement une barrière mais qui était ouverte. Nous étions seuls à ce spot précis mais d’autres vans arrives par la suite sont allés se mettre plus loin. Un peu de midges le soir

Prachtige , rustige plek om te overnachten direct naast het water. Mooi zicht over het meer. Een frisse duik in het meer is een aanrader.
sehr schöner Platz am See aber auch sehr windig, Platz für 2-3 Autos, Nachts ruhige Straße, 1-2 Autos, je nach Stellplatz nicht ganz eben, kein Handyempfang
Superbe lieu ! La vue sur le loch est impressionnant ! Nous avons eu une température autour de 6 degrés et beaucoup de vent mais ça valait le coup !
Very scenic! I saw two red kites!!! Extremely windy overnight so was glad of my earplugs, a bit further down the road there are some sheltered parking spots that may be preferable, gorgeous spot though

Super endroit comme on les aime, pas d’interdiction ni d’internet, 3G poussive. Terrain un peu défoncé pour le niveau. Aucun service mais nuits tranquilles avec les canards et la vue.
I think we actually stopped a couple of hundred yards further down but had no mobile signal and couldn't update. Anyway, a few places to stop with direct views over peaceful loch. a couple of private houses/estates in the loch side so keep out of their way and grounds. Lovely walks over the hills if you walk down the very quiet road and head left (with the loch on the right). leave no trace.
Road is now open. However when we arrived late after Braemar Gathering all the spots alongside the lake was taken so we slept up above in the heather fields. Plenty of slots suitable for one van, motorhome could be tough. Good service and sheeps coming by to say hello in the morning
The road to all of these bays is closed. a big red metal gate is across the entrance and a big red sign saying road closed. A real shame.
Hands down the best spot we’ve stayed so far! Space for one big (or maybe two small) vans to pull off the tiny road and stay on your own little bit of loch beach! Barely saw another soul while we spend 2 nights here (apart from the odd twitcher) Incredible views of the loch, lovely to walk the dogs, swim. Very windy and no signal, but who cares when it’s this beautiful!
