Wat een mooie camperplek. En wat een aardige gastvrouwen. Voorzieningen zijn top, uitzicht fantastisch en genoten van de rust. Eindconclusie: 5 sterren met een dikke plus.

Tout était parfait : super accueil, emplacements très bien conçus, les services proposés fonctionnent très bien et bien sur la magnifique vue ! Une excellente adresse dans le nord des Highlands.

Hermoso lugar frente al mar, en medio del campo, con estupendas vistas y absoluta tranquilidad. Pocas plazas pero buenas. No hay baños ni duchas. Muy cerca del ferry a Orkney y el castillo de Mey. Buen WiFi e Internet. Anfitrionas amables. Hemos repetido.

Ein wunderschöner Campingplatz mit einer sehr tollen Aussicht. Wir haben für zwei Nächte hier super gestanden, der Platz ist sehr gepflegt und aufgeräumt und bietet Platz für fünf Wohnmobile. Es gibt keine separaten duschen oder Toiletten, aber mit einem Wohnmobil braucht man das auch nicht. Das WLAN ist suboptimal und auch die Internetverbindung ist sehr schwach, aber wer braucht hier schon WLAN bei der Aussicht. Der Kontakt mit den Betreiberrinnen ist sehr schnell und freundlich und man merkt, wie viel Herz in diese Einrichtung steckt.

Eine wunderschöne Aussicht in einer ruhigen Umgebung haben wir vorgefunden. Die Betreiberin, Karina, ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir würden wieder herkommen.

Wat een geweldige plek. Enthousiast ontvangst door de gastvrouw. Prachtig uitzicht op de Orkney's. Van alle gemakken voorzien maar reken niet op een toiletgebouw. Een absolute aanrader.

Een hele mooie gezellige plaats met de aller vriendelijkste host. Boeken via website en dan fantastisch lief contact via whatsapp. We hadden heel slecht weer maar bij mooi weer vast prachtig met de Orkneys. Electriciteit cash afrekenen, en als je overweegt naar boven af te ronden wordt donatie gemaakt aan de zeehonden opvang! Je dient wel zelfvoorzienend te zijn.

Lovely little spot and even though the weather was not the best. I highly recommend this site everything you could ever want. If you looking for some lovely food go to the Northan Sands Hotel we had a lovely evening meal and they have space for a camper van or two.

Absolutely outstanding site! Great pitches, stunning views across to the islands, everything right at your pitch and a dog walking field too. We had a super welcome from Jo, explaining the site and local area. We did have truly wonderful weather but could only stay 1 night due to ferry to Orkney the following day. Highly recommended *****

Super netter Kontakt. Preislich aber auch am oberen Ende für einen gekiesten Platz ohne Sani. Strom faire 30 pence pro kwh. Wasser, Abwasser am Platz. Aussicht super. Straße kaum befahren.

Arrived here this evening to stay. The most warmest and friendly welcome. Views are stunning. Can't wait to take our pooch for a run in the dog field. Would highly recommend and will definatley be staying here again next time I'm in Scotland

Joli petit site très bien entretenu et organisé avec un vue magnifique sur les Orcades. Chacun des cinq emplacements a de l’électricité, un accès aux eaux claires et de quoi vider les eaux grises. Une cassette roulante de 35 litres est à disposition pour cela. Un petit bémol: l’enregistrement par internet est un peu lourd ?.

Nous sommes arrivés à l. improviste. La propriétaire nous a accueillis avec beaucoup de chaleur. 20 livres pour 1 fourgon. Vue magnifique sur la mer. calme. Eau pour remplir le tank et vidange des wc possible. Un lieu extra !

Vue sensationnelle ! Site sans bloc sanitaire. Branchement électrique si besoin, facturé en supplément. Possibilité de se recharger en eau propre, de vidanger les eaux grises et vider la cassette. Merci aux propriétaires pour leur accueil !

Fabulous stop. Stunning views. Super helpful owners. Check their online calendar to see if they have spaces. We borrowed owner’s hose as ours was too short. No drive-over grey waste point but 35 litre caddy available to help empty into drain below tap near your pitch. Toilet waste point clean! Can park in any direction on the back pitch. Make sure you’ve got cash for electric.

Einfacher aber Top Stellplatz mit ausgezeichneten Gastgeberinnen. Hunde sind willkommen, ein extra Dog Field ist vorhanden. Lage einmalig mit Blick auf die Orkney-Inseln. Keine Entsorgung wie sonst üblich möglich. Wasser und Strom vorhanden. Strom wird nach Bedarf abgerechnet und bei Abreise bar(!) bezahlt. Verbuchen dringend empfohlen (nur 5 Stellplätze).

Great little spot looking out over to Orkney. Easy booking system. A warm welcome. Everything you need for a great stay & their website is a good read, following Jo & Karina's own motorhome travels & information on things to do in the area. Would definitely return.

as North as it gets to camp, amazing views of Stroma and Orkney. Booked by this app 15 minutes before we arrived. water and waste all included in price and electric by usage (about a pound a night). we could have taken Jo home she was insightful and funny. They whatsapped us some footage of our can which will be a great keepsake of the journey. thanks so much...

Fantastic spot. Booked ahead online with ease. The WiFi was good, the pitches were excellent and with limited spaces, it should never feel overcrowded like other sites in the area. If you're self contained then it's the perfect site. Beautiful views and it was lovely chatting to the owner.

Schitterend uitzicht, warm onthaal en mooie camperplaats.

Fantastisch uitzicht met ruime staanplaatsen. Propere locatie met alle voorzieningen. Enkel geen losingsplaats (grijs water) voor continentale campers. Zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw, zeker een aangename ontmoeting. Het uitzicht en de locatie is echt de moeite waard voor een nacht. Aandachtspunt: Wel een smalle baan richting de camperplek maar dat is het waard.

The ladies who own and work the site are very special. Lovely! Great view!

Lovely lady running the Crofters Snug, very friendly and helpful. Only basic facilities but fabulous panoramic view. Very cold and windy but not unexpected in January. The glamping pods and shepherds hut look like fun. Would def stay again if I were passing. Make sure you have all you need as it’s an isolated spot.

Winter trip - providing you have your own facilities. The family who run it were away but were easily contacted by telephone and told us how we could pay. Unclear if they are actually open during the winter season but owners didn’t seem to mind that we’d pulled up without prior notice.

Lovely little site. 5 hard standing pitches with hook-up, drinking water and grey what waste. no toilets or showers on site, which is fine if you have a mobile home or a chemical toilet in your camper. ideal place for a 1 night stay after visiting John o groats. £20 for 1 night. Jo was the lovely lady who welcomed us on site, gave us a few tips on local walks.

Amazing views. Very friendly and helpful owners (who are also motorhome owners). Quiet site with space for only 5 tourers. No toilets or showers but waste disposal, water and EHU.

Karina and Jo kindly squeezed us in last minute. Gorgeous views all evening of the sea with birds swooping over. A number of nice walks from the site. Was able to top up water and dispose of toilet waste. There was electric hook up, although we didn’t need it. Loved it.
