Lovely and peaceful spot with space for a few vans parked close together. Beautiful views over two beaches with a mountain backdrop. Ideal for a morning or evening swim!
Quelques places avant d'arriver au quai. Valable hors été, car parking avec barres de hauteur juste avant. Vue magnifique sur 2 plages et en face, le Croagh Patrick. Robinet d'eau à droite de la cale de mise à l'eau.
A few places before arriving at the dock. Valid outside summer, because parking with height bars just before. Magnificent view of 2 beaches and opposite, Croagh Patrick. Water tap to the right of the slipway.
Ein paar Plätze vor der Ankunft am Kai. Gültig außerhalb des Sommers, da kurz vor dem Parken mit Höhenbalken geparkt wird. Herrliche Aussicht auf 2 Strände und gegenüber der Croagh Patrick. Wasserhahn rechts von der Slipanlage.

james150802/07/2025Great location , there is also a brilliant beach sauna here too , be mindful not to block the Sauna’s view , this can be done by parking next to the bench . Also a tap at this location by the lifeguard hut. Toilets 200 m away in the car park but there is a height barrier so if over 1.9 m you can’t drive to them . Great sunrise if you’re lucky .

Angel-PopolFr13/06/2025Nous sommes restés 1 nuit. Très beau paysage, très agréable. Par contre beaucoup de passages le soir jusqu'à assez tard et le matin tôt des locaux qui viennent promener le chien ou se baigner.

Great spot right next to the beaches on either side of the pier. It gets extremely busy with swimmers in the early evening and next morning with cars parked anywhere they can. Not much room to manoeuvre so make sure you park in a way that means you have a clear route out and don't get blocked in.
gorm1n06/05/2025Fantastic place to spend the night. Parked on the pier and slept without disturbance. There were also about 5 other campers parked up. Beautiful views. The following morning was busy with lots of people coming to the pier/beach, using the sauna, boats coming and going etc. We were asked to move our van at about 11.30am to create more parking spaces for cars, but we were leaving at this time anyway

We arrived in the evening and had the harbour to ourselves. A good sheltered spot with two lovely small beaches too. Didn’t find the water but there was a bin. Sauna not open all week so check times!

Our favourite spot to stay so far! Had the place to ourselves, but were woken early by open water swimmers getting ready for a dip and chatting by our van. They couldn't have been more friendly! Gorgeous beach!!

Endroit très sympa. Facile à se garer mais passage étroit pour y arriver. Il y a même un sauna et une roulotte qui vend du café. Belle vue sur Croagh Patrick !

key for ocean lovers. sea was teaming with jellyfish, beautiful clear water. water warm enough to swim, toilets were bang average, not super clean, but somewhere to park your bum. Would 100% recommend. & a great view of Croagh Patrick.

Emplacement pratique pour ravitaillement en eau. Nous avons dormi sur le parking à côté des WC publics en mars 2024. La plage est agréable pour une promenade.

Une seule place sur le quai, qui était déjà occupée. Mais le grand parking avait la barre de hauteur ouverte. Parking très en pente mais il y'a quelques places à plat près des toilettes publiques.

Fabulous spot a bit tight on the harbour but we got a spot up a bit , it’s very clean and there’s toilets nice place for a swim ,

ein wirklich sehr schöner Platz direkt neben 2 Stränden. aber nur für wenige Camper Platz und Wendemöglichkeit sehr schwierig und nur für geübte Fahrer.

Hi all, I visited this location for interest Saturday 29th October 2022. I can confirm plenty of parking outside of season and the barrier to the free toilet’s was open. Definitely stop here again however I imagine it would be very busy in season.

This really is a fantastic place to stay, bins provided, water tap at the top of the jetty. Lovely beaches and if you’re into fishing there’s some great fishing to be had off the end of the pier.
Fuso4x4Vercors15/07/2022Très animé dans la journée , beaucoup de baigneurs et familles. Le quai se vide vers 20h (été), nous n'avons que l'embarras du choix pour l'emplacement sur la jetée. Seul ce soir. Demi-tour difficile en journée, aisé en soirée. Le grand parking est limité en hauteur. Il y a des sanitaires. Eau libre-service à côté du bungalow des Lifeguards. Belles plages. Nous avons adoré.

In November, the height barriers on the car park are open and the toilets are open all night. Spoke to a local man who said parking out of season wasn't a problem and it's usually very quiet on the car park. There is a tap on the pier. The pier itself was really busy all day and into the night even on a weekday in November. We had a quiet, undisturbed night on the car park.

Large car park to left before pier barriers open - toilets in this car park (open all night) also Porto loo beside pier where there is a fresh water tap - a beach party started around 11pm (it was a Friday night) Could have parked further back up the car park but ground there not level - we moved on to the quay in Westport

VERY. BUSY. you can expect to be surrounded by people coming & going to go swim. didn't stay overnight, just stopped for a nap and it was perfect. Public toilets nearby, very good. height restrictions were in place for main car park.

Sehr schön, wie beschrieben. Waren an einem Montagabend im Juli. Sehr viele Jugendliche als Badegäste bei schönem Wetter mit viel Trubel und Lärm. Dabei steht man mit seinem Wohnmobil ein bischen im Weg und fühlt sich als “Fremdkörper“ ab 23h dann ruhig, bis Morgens die Hundebsitzer kommen....

De passage le 6 jun 2018. Très bel emplacement soit sur le port ou sur le grand parking lorsque les barres sont retirées (ce qui était le cas). Toilettes publiques sur le parking avec possibilité de vider cassette et eaux grises et faire la plein d'eau propre.

Nous avons préféré passer la nuit tranquille sur la partie haute au-dessus du quai. Il existe un très grand parking avant sur la gauche avec barres ouvertes sans doute hors été.
