We had a lovely night here. Beautiful beach, cute pier, and nice community garden.
Bel endroit en bord de mer, parking payant via horodateur ou Ringoapp. Les panneaux de restriction nocturne ont été retirés. Toilettes publiques et douche extérieure en face du café Coffee Cup, avec une aire de jeux pour enfants à côté. Poubelles tout le long de la promenade. Parking en bord de route, assez calme la nuit, mais à nouveau bondé le matin.
Nice place by the sea, paid parking via meter or Ringoapp. Any overnight restriction signs on any vehicle have been removed. Public toilets and outdoor shower opposite Coffee Cup cafe which has a kids play park next to it. Bins all along the prom. Parking next to the road but is fairly quiet at night gets busy again in the morning.
Schöner Platz am Meer, gebührenpflichtiges Parken per Parkuhr oder RingoApp. Alle Schilder mit Übernachtungsverboten an Fahrzeugen wurden entfernt. Öffentliche Toiletten und Außenduschen befinden sich gegenüber dem Coffee Cup Café, neben dem sich ein Kinderspielplatz befindet. Mülleimer stehen entlang der Promenade bereit. Das Parken ist neben der Straße, nachts aber recht ruhig, morgens jedoch wieder voll.

Nice view next to the sea. Free after 6 pm until 8 am following morning . It is on the main road which runs along side the coast line. The road can busy until early hours it does quieten down but it is free so can’t really grumble.
SasaPisa28/08/2025Schöne Aussicht und gefühlt sicher, da stark frequentiert. Das ist auch das negative.An einem Wochentag gegen 3 Uhr immer noch Spaziergänger und rasende Autos.Wir haben nicht gut geschlafen, sind aber dbzgl. vielleicht auch empfindlich!

Spent a Monday night here, very quiet after it gets late, right on the seafront. Toilets open from 8 until 8, and plenty of room right along the way. There are signs saying no caravans and no bus parking, but motorhomes seem fine. Free after 6pm, so turn up in the evening and you're good until 8am. Highly recommend, 8/10 stop.

Stunning view and quite quiet at night despite being on the road not many cars came past. Parked closer to the Coffee Cup cafe which is a great little bonus in the morning. Paid using the app and extended the session to stay longer than 24hrs, no issue at all staying overnight and no signs of any kind this end to say any vehicle is restricted. If there were any here they've been taken down!

Rossy7013/08/2024We parked here fir Victorious Festival in 2023 after doing so the previous year. Received a parking ticket during the night, however we challenged it, as the signs clearly say it is buses (8seats ) & cars towing caravans that are prohibited overnight. The parking fine was overturned on appeal.
Pirate_Pete25/09/2023Marked on the app as daytime only , but I couldn't see the signs others mention - there are signs saying no coach or caravan parking at night, but no mention of other vehicles restricted, and nothing on app or ticket machines. The parking is next to the road. So nice view across shingle beach, but road noise.

Great place to park and enjoy the view. Allowed to stay during the day and evening, pay and display takes you through to the next day . However Restrictions are clear on every other lamp post saying no overnight stays (midnight to 8 am ) we moved on

Do not park overnight ..... New parking restrictions are in place from 12 midnight to 8am. Myself and 4 friends all received parking tickets issued at 1am ! the signs are small and not on the ticket machines or app.

Stayed for the night, plenty campers stayed there. Toilets open only during day. Wake up to beautiful views. Pedestrian pavement further away from parking lane therefore good privacy. Toilets few meters further towards pier. I saw many locals making fires and bbq on beach. Lots of foxes at night so don’t throw away food waste near your spot so you don’t hear them munching it at night. Parking free for the night only until 8am

We stayed here on 25/01/20 on Saturday and Sunday and it was fine! Right on the sea front, 24hr toilets, a cafe if needed. It was peaceful enough apart from fairly regular cars, some of them really bomb it passed and can be loud but we all slept well. Parking charges during the day are OK payment by cash or card, slightly more if you pay by phone! And parking overnight is free pretty much all the way around to the ferry port. Lots of campers around all through the city. Great spot! And great view!
Lidanmeredith23/01/2020Daytime we parked at NCP city centre , walk around enjoy the historic areas, before 6:00pm we drive here park over night. Free from 18:00-8:00. Lots space and toilet at end road .

Fantastic place to spend the night, pretty quiet in winter
MDWinsborrow01/09/2019Now this really is a worthy place to stop right on the seafront with an amazing view of the Isle of Wight. Parking is sandwiched between the road and a cycle track but with unadulterated views across to the Isle of Wight and it's fortifications. Its ideal if you have bikes. Its free from 6pm to 8am. £12 for the rest of the day.

An der ganzen Straße und auch vorne am D-Day Museum kann man zwischen 18-8h kostenfrei parken. Nachts wenig Verkehr.

Am 27.08.17 hier übernachten. Parkplatz entlang der Straße. In dieser Nacht sehr laut. Toiletten am Ende der Straße über Nacht zu. Von 18-8Uhr kostenfrei. Keine Infrastruktur.

Nous n'y avons pas passé la nuit car à notre arrivé, il y avait plein de migrants et l'endroit paraissait peu sure !
