Petit parking juste à côté de la route principale. Appartement abrité et avec une vue magnifique. Suffisamment d'espace pour 3 ou 4 fourgons / camping-cars. Bon pour un séjour d'une nuit.

Kleiner Parkplatz direkt an der Hauptstraße. Wohnung geschützt und mit herrlicher Aussicht. Genug Platz für 3 oder 4 Transporter / Wohnmobile. Gut für eine Übernachtung.
Pequeño estacionamiento junto a la carretera principal. Apartamento protegido con una vista magnífica. Espacio suficiente para 3 o 4 furgonetas / autocaravanas. Bueno para pasar la noche.

lovely little stop, only stayed for one night. very quiet. windy road to get to it but defintley worth it
incredible spot to stay, one of my faves. i was the only one here and it was silent come nightfall. windy but protected by the high sides around the car park, if you park it right you can enjoy the benefits of both. plenty of dongle signal. a bit uneven, worth it for the incredible views. piles of toilet paper left lying around… *eyeroll* but other than that, amazing to really escape to the moors!
We were going to stop and take advantage of the shelter, but there was a large puddle covering a quarter of the area and also significant human waste which we neither wanted to be in the presence of or be blamed for so we mover up the road. It is amazing how badly some of our fellow travellers behave.

Nice view, a little windy but you are reasonably sheltered. The road is a little up and down and quite twisty, I'm in a Motorhome and didn't have any problems, slow and steady wins the race as they say... Some one has had a small fire which isn't a great idea. Other than that place is clean and tidy, please help in keeping it like this to keep this option open. Thanks and enjoy.
peaceful location, good walks
We arrived just as the snow was melting. There was a large puddle on one side of the gravelled area which restricted where we could park and it was still quite icy. Other than 2 vehicles arriving then departing an hour later it was quiet, windswept and had great views towards Barnard Castle
As described - we had the spot to ourselves although was NYE. Was a large puddle limiting some parking but it has rained hard recently so doubt always there. Was dark when arrived but view didn't disappoint following morning. Road extremely quiet overnight but some light traffic in morning. Just a few 100 metres away from Stang Forest where can stretch the legs on an easy walk.

Great little spot, quite sheltered considering. Don’t know about the cattle grid I didn’t hear it at all. Quiet all night.

Lovely quiet location, with little traffic overnight, however road is only suitable for camper vans not motorhomes
