Secluded car park, no parking restrictions.

Right by the beach! Busy on weekend mornings.

Narrow road on entry. We took our LWB
boxer conversion and fitted through although lots of leaves and twigs rubbing along top sides.

lovely spot, no facilities, pretty close to a residential area. But, deffo is great if you like a nice beach.

Stayed the night with no issues. was in a 7metre van but this time of the year no issues as well

  • 5/5

Lovely view, narrow entrance so if you're in a vehicle larger than a light goods van perhaps avoid (unless you don't mind scratches from hedges!). There's a small sauna on site too. Can walk directly onto the beach and there's a coffee shop 2 mins round the corner. We'll definitely be back to park up here again

Lovely park up right at the top of the steps down to the sea. Very peaceful night. Stunning sunrise. Bin on site.

05/09/25 lovely little spot, right by the beach, not suitable for MH's, more for the smaller van. no restrictions, good for walks no services. dog loved it ! local dog walkers were all friendly

  • 5/5

Little spot out the way, arrived about 5pm was busy but soon cleared out. Good for a roof tent, not 100% sure on a camper van as it’s not a huge car park. Few dog walkers in the morning but no loud noise.

  • 5/5

Lovely spot wasn’t too busy when we came in the evening but in the morning dog walkers starting arriving from 5:30 as stated in previous reviews. Lovely access to the beach! And the sound of the waves was blissful at night! People were walking to and from town till about midnight but made little noise. It did rain overnight so there was less people about plus not peak summer season anymore.

Went car camping here with my 3 boys! Great spot, only one other camper with us overnight, a few local dog walkers in and out. Definitely only big enough for smaller campers/conversions. Good nightmare what we needed.

  • 5/5

Nice spot but was pretty full when we got here, 8:30am on a Sunday. Managed to squeeze in. Would be a lovely place to stay the night (hopefully with no egging!) Took a cuppa down to the seafront :)

  • 2/5

Very nice spot but completely full and only for small campers, ours is 7m long and didn't fit.

  • 5/5

Beautiful place to stay. Didn’t have any problem with egging? The view is gorgeous and I will definitely be coming back here to stay. The people were so friendly and it was a very quiet place.

  • 3/5

A great overnight spot right next to the beach. We were the only van here. The van did get egged at about midnight... very odd and seemingly harmless...? We didn't fully realise until the morning. There is a lovely coffee shack a 2 min walk up the beach.

Stayed here until midnight when someone egged our van. Hubby shouted and they ran off but not great when we have a small child with us. Felt very uneasy afterwards so decided to move on.

  • 4/5

Stayed 2 nights. People are really friendly, main coastal path for dog walkers, joggers and a 25 minute walk into town centre. Had no issue with eggs here, but I did in Lowestoft... A regional thing? No other campers while I was parked (11/12th June 2023, 22° temps). I would certainly risk parking here again.

Someone threw eggs at my van just gone midnight. I’ve stayed here before with no trouble, but this time was certainly different. May have been a one-off, but be wary.

  • 5/5

good parking.there is access to the beach.many fishermen.Stayed for one night very quiet and good place!

  • 5/5

Great location ideal for small to medium size campers. Very quite at night, perfect spot for dog walkers

  • 5/5

Currently access between bushes is wide enough for a van, easily enough space for 6 SWB/MWB,very quiet during the night, had the door open until past midnight and left front windows open slightly all night,1 other camper stayed the night, dog friendly beach just metres away so dog walkers etc started arriving from 05.30,would definitely stay here again (stayed 23/8/2022)

Too narrow approach for mobile home.

  • 5/5

Very quiet spot in the night. We camped out in our Tentbox lite. Lots of dog walkers in the morning. To get to this area the road is between 2 bushes easily accessible for cars. Beautiful view of a lovely pebble beach.

  • 2/5

Those “Branches” have now grown into rigid wood, capable of scratching most paint jobs. A bit uneven parking. Quiet. Probably best suited for a small camper. Please check the “Tree Tunnel” by foot before proceeding with your vehicle or you just might regret having a go at parking here.

  • 5/5

Quiet location, lovely sea views, a bit narrow to get in but it’s fine if you take it slow. Worth a visit.

  • 3/5

    Quiet location at night

  • 4/5

Nice spot! Quite busy with dog walkers (dog friendly beach) but perfect for a free spot with a nice view! And the beach itself is lovely, worth a visit :)
