Fantastic spot, very exposed so don't come when it's very windy!
Parking à côté d'une ancienne carrière, vue magnifique et peu de pollution lumineuse. Pas de toilettes ni d'eau, alors venez préparé.
Car park next to an old quarry, great views and not much light pollution. No Toilet or water so come prepared.

Aparcamiento junto a una antigua cantera, vistas estupendas y poca contaminación lumínica. No hay baño ni agua, así que venga preparado.
Parcheggio accanto a una vecchia cava, viste fantastiche e poco inquinamento luminoso. Niente toilette o acqua, quindi venite preparati.
Parkeerplaats naast een oude steengroeve, geweldig uitzicht en niet veel lichtvervuiling. Geen toilet of water, dus kom voorbereid.

Angathome16/06/2021It’s a great view but there is now a clear sign that says no overnight stays for camper vans. Alternatives are a couple of small tarmac pull-offs back towards Brynmawr where there are no signs. Not as good but at least they are allowed.
tomocozens04/06/2021Awesome spot. Had a great stop over here for a night this week. I grew up in the area and it is known for being a bit of a meet up for the car bunches so can imagine the issues previous reviewers found but i think generally you will be fine.
chrisskeels01/06/2021Stunningly beautiful spot. There was a dragon pizza van open till 8pm. Few late teen boys with girlfriends in cars with music but they did all go home by 11pm. Quieter spots in lay bys near by.

Forgot to mention that the 4g signal is really good. Managed to watch the Brighton/West Ham match on Sky sports perfectly.

We use this parking space quite often as it's near home. We are here now Sat/Sun night. Its rained heavily but views are amazing. No facilities so you need to bring your own. Only one other small campervan here. We are 7.5 m and I would say you could probably get 5/6 in here. Some spots are a little sloping but not too bad. If it's full there are a number of other spots close by.

We parked in a lay-by a few miles up the road from this site. Really quiet, lovely views to wake up to, had no problems

I’m a local and was hoping to camp here a few weeks back. It was a Friday evening, dead quiet and at around 11:30pm around 8-10 cars full of young boys drinking pulled into the car park & were racing up and down the road constantly being a nuisance. I wouldn’t of minded but unfortunately they didn’t keep to themselves. They were knocking on the windows of my van, constantly shouting, chucking glass bottles, rocking the van back and forth, etc. So in the end we just left. I would recommend this place because it’s absolutely beautiful. But choose a weekday to go as it should be fairly quieter.

A lot of wind and nice vibe and a great view to wake up to. Lots of space. A few local cars showed up during the day but everyone sticks to themselves. Enjoy!
