L'auberge The narrow boat ,,, pas exactement un parc de camping-car. Mais un super pub avec une cuisine de qualité à un prix raisonnable et sympathique ... Juste à côté du canal. Propriétaire heureux de nous laisser rester après avoir mangé et une cupla bières. Route un peu bruyante jusqu'à 21h30 mais pas de problème. Assez proche d'un pylône mais je me sentais rechargé le matin. Super escale et bonus de voir le château de Whittington
The narrow boat inn,,, not exactly a motor home park up. But a great pub with quality food well priced and friendly.. Right next to the canal. Landlord happy to let us stay after eating and a cupla beers. Road a bit noises up till 9.30 pm but not a problem. Pretty close to a pylon but did feel recharged in the morning. Great stop over and bonus of seeing Whittington castle
The narrow boat Gasthaus ist nicht gerade ein Wohnmobilpark. Aber eine tolle Kneipe mit gutem Essen zu guten Preisen und freundlich. Direkt neben dem Kanal. Der Vermieter lässt uns gerne nach dem Essen und einer Tasse Bier bleiben. Straßengeräusche bis 21.30 Uhr, aber kein Problem. Ziemlich nah an einem Pylon, fühlte sich aber am Morgen wieder aufgeladen. Toller Zwischenstopp und Bonus auf das Whittington Castle

what a great pub stopover right on the canal, we stayed here for one night had a meal and a couple of drinks in the pub very reasonably priced we had the stake in Guinness pie with chips and veg food was very hot when arrived staff and the owner were excellent and friendly as were the locals would definitely recommend and will 100% visit again.
Really nice people, excellent food, great quiet location. ( The odd car passed after 10 Pm but general very quiet) Good selection of beers, service was quick, food was very nice and good value, would defiantly return

stayed here last night after reading previous comments & it didn't disappoint. checked with landlord when we arrived to make sure it was OK. he was very welcoming & friendly, food was delicious & very reasonably priced. had a great night's sleep, yes slight noise from the road on occasions but didn't bother us & felt safe. perfect stopover after leaving north wales, would recommend.
Great stop over, did this based on previous reviews and they were not wrong lovely friendly accommodating landlord/owner. Decent "proper" pub food with no bells or roses just good food. In this day and age more than happy to support such a pub with a meal and acouple of rounds of drinks. Great location road noise is just an occasional background interference
Lovely little find, gorgeous views over the marina m, lovely decent priced food (recommend the steak and Guiness pie) and friendly accommodating landlord. I will definitely be returning. Slight road noise from lorries but I sleep through anyway, so that’s okay.
Nice little park up, only small carpark so ring ahead, landlord accommodating, food very nice and very reasonable
What a find! Friendly landlord and locals. Parked for free and we enjoyed a few drinks. As we arrived in the dark we couldn’t appreciate until the morning the lovely canal view. Definitely highly recommend and it’s dog friendly.
Great stopover on way back from Wales to Shrewsbury. Landlord very friendly and allowed us to park up in his car park. Next to Narrowboat marina so could empty waste and top up water. £6.
Perfect stop over after leaving the north of Wales. The landlord to the inn is very friendly so if you have a meal or a few pints he should be happy to let you park up for the night. Food in the restaurant was great too.
