We had a nice night in early August here.
Parc de campagne de Carterton - parking, à côté d'un grand parc de jeux avec toilettes payantes, il y a de la place pour quelques camping-cars, il peut y avoir du monde pendant la journée en été et peut-être quelques voitures de garçons la nuit. Il y a une coopérative et un magasin de poisson et de frites dans le lotissement de Shilton Park, pas très loin. - Veuillez le garder en ordre et utiliser les poubelles.
Carterton country park - car park, next to a big play park with paid toilets, there is space for a a few motorhomes, it can be busy during the day in the summer and maybe a few boy cars at night. There is a Co op and fish and chip shop on the shilton park housing estate not to far away. - Please keep it tidy and use the bins.
Carterton Country Park – Parkplatz neben einem großen Spielplatz mit kostenpflichtigen Toiletten. Es gibt Platz für ein paar Wohnmobile. Im Sommer kann es tagsüber voll sein und nachts kommen vielleicht ein paar Autos vorbei. Nicht weit entfernt gibt es in der Wohnsiedlung Shilton Park eine Genossenschaft und einen Fish-and-Chips-Laden. – Bitte halten Sie alles sauber und benutzen Sie die Mülleimer.

bettaejany16/08/2025Tutto come descritto e perfetto fino alle 22 circa, poi un gruppo di ragazzi (non ragazzini, piuttosto giovani adulti) ha colpito più volte e molto forte il nostro camper. Siamo andati via. Maleducazione e intolleranza nonostante il parcheggio sia lontano dalle case.

Great quiet place for a night. Fills up during the day with dog walkers and children playing in park. Toilets, but you need coins to use (20p).
GelberHut01/08/2025Wir haben hier für eine Nacht ganz ruhig mit zwei weiteren Campern übernachtet. Ein kleiner Park mit Spielfläche für Kinder ist direkt hier. Ein Toilettenhaus ist auch vorhanden, welches wir aber nicht benutzt haben. Alles ist NEU angelegt.

gran sitio, muy tranquilo y cómodo. pasamos una noche tranquila. a un costado se encuentra un parque con zona de juegos para niños. gracias por la recomendación.

Good stop with toilet if needed, nice area to walk dogs. Lots of cars coming/going on wet/windy evening but didn’t do anything to bother us . Plenty of dog walkers in morning who were friendly. Signal bit hit/miss

cracking little park up. stayed for 1 night in December and it was very quiet, no issues at all. clean and tidy, bins, a brilliant kids playground and lovely walks, albeit we never got chance to do them. highly recommended.

Great little park up in the middle of a housing estate but tucked away enough so not intrusive on any houses. Arrived after dark, only one car pulled on with loud music but pulled off straight away. Dog walkers arrived around 6.30/7 but made little noise. We were left by 7.30am as only a small area and didn't want to upset the locals. Would recommend, leave no trace and don't outstay your welcome

Superb place to stay. Level ground. We stayed here and could see two other campers in the carpark. Had no issues with boy racers, peaceful all night.

great spot, we stayed for one night and everything was alright. there is a great park for children (or adult children lol) nearby ! toilets are available for 20 pences

Excellent for a stay, thanks for sharing! Parking area completely new done in June24, very clean and spacious enough. The playground is huge, and so well done. Beautiful walking grounds for dogs, too. Had a really quiet night and a lovely morning.

Very nice and quiet sleep. Police came by shortly after we parked up so it seems they are keeping an eye on things. Sunrise was absolutely gorgeous and the playground is lovely. Couldn’t fault the stay.

Very good overnight or day stop. We spent a very quiet night. Public paying toilets and a great children playground near by and a country park to use for your early morning runs!!!
MimiJelinek19/08/2023Einer der schönsten Parkplätze, auf denen wir je übernachtet haben. Ruhig, wunderschöne Umgebung, ein riesiger Spielplatz in direkter Nähe und öffentliche (Bezahl-)Toiletten direkt am Platz. Wir waren ganz alleine da trotz Ankunft am Samstag Abend und haben die Nacht genossen!

Surprisingly quiet - apart from building work during the day as the estate grows and grows. Great 4G signal. Very level. No bother from the locals.
