Ringo app doesn't allow to pay the £12.50 for 24hrs only coins at the pay and display machine (when it works) conflicting info from traffic wardens. one said no overnight camping. another said its OK. Be prepared to challenge. take photos if machine not working.

Absolut toller Platz, mit faszinierender Aussicht! Direkt am Strand. Achtung 12£ in Münzen werden zum Parken benötigt. Ein gutes Restaurant ist auch in direkter Nähe mit Blick aufs Meer. Hier kommen wir gern wieder hin!

Absolutely gorgeous spot with a good amount of space. Right on the beach and very quaint. Nice and quiet. Unfortunately public loos are closed and look like they will be for a while. There is water around the back of the toilet block though.

Signal was rubbish along here. Free parking for disabled badge holders. Easy to get in and out and find. lovely views. only stayed for 1 night before heading south.

Fisch_kopp__09/04/2023Super Platz für die erste Nacht nach der Ankunft in Dover. Perfekter Blick auf das Meer und eine sehr entspannte Nacht. Morgens kamen viele Hundebesitzer*innen vorbei, die aber nicht störten. Außerhalb der Hochsaison ist ein Parkticket wahrscheinlich nicht von Nöten

Lovely spot. Designate parking for Motorhomes/caravans. It says £10 for 24hrs motorhomes/caravans. Also when I tried to pay via app, I couldn’t, it stated parking closed. Found a water point at the front of the toilets, near beach huts. Also there’s a cold shower if you fancy! Toilets were closed for renovations when i visited.

Wir sind hier 2 Nächte gestanden und dann direkt zur Fähre nach Dover - Fahrzeit 35 Minuten. Bezahlung mit Münzen möglich. Super Platz!!! Falls der Parkplatz besetzt ist, findet man 300 Meter weiter nochmals Stellplätze, die sogar noch ruhiger und noch weiter am Meer sind. ( Barnes Car Park ) Habe ich beim Spaziergang entdeckt. Diese sind aber leider nur mit App zu bezahlen.

quiet spot with toilets and 2 restaurants on the seafront. there are 6 motorhome bays. £10 for 24 hours. Good access to the beach and within walking distance of westgate high street.

Great stop but we did have problems trying to work out how to pay the £10 overnight charge for campers ie when I put my details into Ringo app, its only registered as a van so wanted to charge the car rate. But, you can only fit in the camper sized spaces so I ended up paying for a 4.5 hour spot then extending it with 15 hours which came to £10 and gave us the full 24 hours. Lol.

what a lovely find. we were planning to stay at the other end of Margate, on Fort Promenade, but when we arrived, it really didn't look very inviting! we came down here and it is peaceful, quite a few people about from early in the morning, but not at all noisy. the loos are a huge bonus and were clean. very much enjoyed our night car-camping here!

A lot of places on the seafront forbid overnight campers but this car park didn’t have those signs. It does say maximum stay is 24 hours. When we stayed here, the RingGo parking payment “zone was closed” so we parked for free (on a Saturday night) Lovely spot, great for walking the dog. The nearby toilets were sadly locked up.

Narrow lane access with cars parked but once down in car park it’s fine for vans and SMALL motor homes - mines is 5.2m. Great for beach or cycling. No signs saying no overnight but suspect you can’t. £1:40 per hour to park.
