(YO16 6XJ) Bridlington - Scarborough Road

clean and tidy lay-by, it has 2 bins for your rubbish, the road is a well used road so can get abit noisy. it is nice and flat too.

Decent place to stay for the night. Completely off the main road, separated by a grass patch and trees so somewhat hidden from sight of passing cars. Reasonably quiet over night. Two bins was useful. Toilet paper in grass verges so wasn’t ideal for taking my dogs out for a sniff about and potentially walking human waste back in.

We've been on the road for over 2 months and this is by far the loudest place we've slept. Normally road side sleeping gets quiet for a bit, but the traffic here literally never stopped throughout the whole night, it was bonkers. If you're ok with traffic noise, you'll be fine, no other real problems other than rubbish - it is just a road side rest stop.

Great 1 night stop. 2 empty bins, but lots of rubbish around. Did a quick litter pick. We need to keep these spaces clean and tidy for all to enjoy. The road was a little noisy, but it is a lay-by. We would recommend this spot

Stayed here last night, really quiet, a couple of other campers there too which helps for peace of mind. Great for an overnight!

stayed here the night..arrived about 6pm...no other vans here..level ground...a bin on site...its just a layby but had a good night's sleep...after about 10pm very quiet...not a lot of traffic...Good phone signal....would use again..

We stayed the night in our campervan with our two dogs. No bother off anyone only noise was the road noise. A good place to stay for the night, close to Bridlington.

Decent lay-by but pretty noisy most of the night with trucks coming and going.

Lay by just off the road. Lots of room, a few other vans. Ok to spend the night.

Stayed 1 night, lots of level spots. Few other vans also parked up. Small amount of road noise but didn't stop us having a nice night.

Good place to pull in and stop the night in a campervan. Next to a main road so you do get noise from the traffic but didn’t bother us. There are also bins.

Stayed for one night a bit of road noise and not the most scenic but great stop over.

Not super pretty but fine for an overnight stop over. We stayed the night with no problems and little traffic noise.

Stayed here last night and a few other motor homes there too. Bit of traffic noise from the nearby road which is to be expected, but other than that was quiet. No burger van mentioned by others but probably because today is Sunday.

Stayed here for the night bit of road noise but can't help that being near road. But be curtius and leave middle space for burger van who pulls up around 6 am in morning.
