The campground is a great base for Banks Peninsula exploring and the owner has plenty of advice on places of interest...swim at hidden bays, see baby seals, feed the tame eels. It is popular with locals.... the facilities are rustic, and we celebrate the old school with many things made from recycled materials... like the playground equipment, which kids love, even they are not new.
Je ne partage pas le commentaire "classé parmi les meilleurs campings .." , l'endroit est très calme, le chant des oiseaux est merveilleux, les emplacements sont agréables. Néanmoins, le tout mériterait un peu plus d'entretien que ce soit les jeux pour les enfants où les sanitaires. Et n'oubliez pas vos pièces de 2$ pour la douche. Qualité/prix= bof. Mais animaux admis.

Bon séjour zen à ceux qui qui ont la chance d'aller visiter cette belle contrée
A greta place to start or finish your holiday. relaxing sound of the river and birds in the trees. You can feed the eels in the river and play on the giant swing from a huge tree. There is even an abandoned film set to explore. Back to nature camping at the gateway to Banks Peninsula. Easy to drive to.
