NO OVERNIGHT PARKING. woken by the water bailiff saying no overnight camping. Nice polite man. signs are up saying no fires but 2 vans turned up and got a fire going. A sign up saying dogs must be on leads, then another van turns up letting there dog run free. Then kids turned up in cars leaving litter that I picked up and put in the bin for them
Nothing to say not to stay overnight here, car camped here last night. Only one there, small fishing hut for cover to cook etc. A few cars came and went until dark. Portaloo but wouldn’t like to use it! Lovely place to chill and listen to the water lapping against the boats. Would 100% stay again.
picture perfect views and really stunning little hideaway. kettle grid to entre the ground that's rather tight if your in anything long and single track road on drive up to spot but worth the drive. only signs up here are to keep dog on a leash that's all.
Beautiful spot, very picturesque! Lots of picnic benches, portaloo, shelter under a cabin.. A little busy early morning due to fishermen heading out but would 100% return. Everyone really friendly too so didn't feel unwelcome.
Lovely little site, busy during the day Sunday but on a night we were the only van there, perfectly silent on the night/early morning. We stayed on the Saturday night too where a few cars came and went early doors but that was it. Phone signal was pretty weak on 3. Nice walk round the reservoir
A few cars with teenages appeared arond 20.30 left after an hour. Only 1 other camper van. Quiet and peaceful. Lovely place. Reservoir half drained and can walk out into it.
Very nice quiet/tranquil spot. I will definitely return. Only saw a few fishermen and dog walkers but otherwise had the place to ourselves. Did a little litter pick with our son whilst we were there, to try and preserve our hobby. Belongs to a members only fishing club. All in all, a lovely place.
