Beautiful quiet wooded area with lovely walks. Parked sideways on under scotch pine trees. £10 for a night or free for blue badge holders .
philwood9003/10/2024Woodland car park, expensive for what it is. You can still hear the road from here. Access to the trails for walks and mountain bikes. The Dee side way is also directly over the road as you drive in. We had a quiet night only one other van here, parked on the opposite side of the car park. Great area.

Quiet night, many other campers there. Few dog walkers in the morning. It’s away from the main road and easy access to woodland walks.

£7.40 on ringo app. Lovely quiet place for the night, bring water, pets allowed . The ranger came around and gave us a free camper van map. Great spot. Saw red squirrels early in the morning!!!!

2024 wieder im "Stay-the-night" - Programm! Nur autarke Fahrzeuge, es gibt keine Toiletten, es ist ein einfacher Wanderparkplatz! Übernachtung kostet 7,00 GBP und kann per App bezahlt werden, Anleitung hierfür findet sich am Eingang des Platzes auf einer großen Tafel. Wir haben am Parkplatz sehr nette Ranger getroffen, die uns noch eine Broschüre mit aktuellen Tipps zur Region gegeben haben.
PolarisOverland28/12/2023Been using this for years but sadly as of June 2023 no overnight parking signs and day parking charges. This is the same throughout Forestry And Land (Scotland) woodland car parks. I will miss this overnight location, never saw any rubbish or abuse and enjoyed many a chat in the morning with locals taking their dogs for a walk who I never heard complain.

Looked lovely forest, with plenty of walks,no one else parked when when we arrived 07/23 other than swarms of flies all around! Only stayed a few minutes as it would have been impossible to open doors without them descending into the van!!

An excellent spot, out of the way up the track and at the start of a number of forest trails. Surrounded by trees the parking spots and some good shelter too. Such a quiet, beautiful spot. We did a short forest walk and the area is stunning with a small Loch (lochan) nearby. 5*

Lovely spot in the forest. Lots of level areas and nice and quiet. No other vans there but it was November! Rough road to get in but only a short stretch. Two great cafes only five minutes walk away and lovely walks in the surrounding area. Picnic bench. Didn’t see any bins. Few other cars when we arrived but just dog walkers.
Ian0219/08/2020Beautiful woodlands, plenty of parking, level ground, no signs for any restrictions. no height barrier, roadway in entrance is rough so big motorhomes take it slow. no services. so peaceful, it feels rude to speak louder than a whisper ?
