Really calp place with a beautiful view. Enough space for 4 campervans. Perfect spot if the weather is quite windly elsewhere

Gorgeous spot right next to Ullswater Lake. Little beach with access to water - perfect for a swim or paddle! Glenridding 15 min walk along lakeside path, with shops and pub (and public loos). Can fit around 6-8 campers side by side.

amazing overnight stop with beautiful views over Ullswater.

Lovely roadside pull-in with view over the lake, five other campervans stayed overnight. Little beach across the road and beautiful scenery. A fair few cars in the day but quiet at night. All other pull-in options along the lakeside seem to be National Trust and not allow overnight parking (have written to request this changes as lovely spots if allowed).

Great spot - large car park so plenty of room and free. No signs regarding overnight, we stopped for two nights with no issues. Short walk into Glenridding for local shop if needed.

Très bon emplacement, juste à côté du lac. Beaucoup de monde, mais rassurant quand on est seule. Réveil tôt par l’ecole de kayak, mais mise à part ça très bonne nuit !

incredible park up. access to very steep trail up glenridding dodd at end of lay-by. alright signal on 3. lovely to swim but watch out for the cold under the surface water. no facilities or bins so take your rubbish home. very very busy parking bit so its really chance if you get one or not! there was about 9 vans parked last night and we were crammed so be mindful when parking in high season

Perfect park up! ON the Ullswater Way walk. 1 minute walk from the beach. 15 minute walk from Glenridding & all walks that begin there. 40 minute walk from Aria Force. Any vehicles coming past were hardly noticeable being backed up into a space, and of course the view is simply spectacular.

Fantastic over night stop, right by a beach. Busy in the day, but quiet in the evening

I parked here last night, it was an amazing spot with a great sunrise to wake up to over the water. It was however busy all day with no spaces , I came back at 10pm in the hopes to bag a space. I got the last one, so was a popular spot. But no issues and full phone signal. Road wasn’t too busy and i had a great night sleep!

Nice lay-by with about 6/7 spaces. I parked here overnight whilst I camped up glenridding Dodd (Very steep walk up from the lay-by)

Amazing parking space on the side of the road, with a hiking trail going up to the Glenridding dodd, and a path along the lake to go to the little town (10’ walk). Great view on the lake, and a nice little beach just behind the road. The road is not busy during the night. The place itself was quite clean - let’s keep it this way and not leave toilet paper on the floor :)

Great off-road place to park overnight. Stunning view of Ullswater. Small pebble beach just over the wall on opposite side of the road. Quiet night, It will be difficult to find space in summer.

Keine Probleme danach gehabt wunderschöne sie um die Ecke. Ein relativ großer Manko natürlich die Autos, die da manchmal mit Geschwindigkeiten lang fahren, die nicht feierlich sind. Ich sag’s mal so in einem Dachzelt zu schlafen war schon ein bisschen gruselig aber voll okay

Stayed here last night, I was the only van there. Amazing views and the road quietened down later on. Had one 'beeper', I assume he was congratulating me on choosing a lovely spot. 10 minute walk along the river bank into Glenridding for coffee/beer/food.

Stayed here last night, with no problem. Road wasn’t as loud and busy as we expected. Really nice view overlooking the lake. Would definitely stay again

Great view, no signs restricting overnight parking. Road noise dies down 9pm-7am and plenty of space for bigger vans. Parked overnight and most of next day while we were out walking. 10 mins walk into Glenridding or catch the bus wherever

Beautiful view, easy access, fairly quiet but popular for late drop ins. No facilities nearby.

Stunning location overlooking the water. Easy access to the lake for swimming or watersports and steep path up the mountain which offers good views. Few other campers as well when we stayed. Would stay again.

Nice spot opposite ullswater. No facilities but you can access the lake right across the road.

Excellent emplacement. très convoité en milieu de journée. Vues magnifiques sur le lac et les Montagnes, départ de sentier de randonnée, possibilité de se baigner dans le lac.

Stayed here on 11.9.21. No issues at all. free,quiet and access to the lake for a swim. no signal on my 3 phone but my son got a couple of bars on o2.

Sadly NT sign now says no overnight camping. Didn’t want to risk a bang on the van at 5am

Stayed here for 1 night. Great views! A little noisy around 6pm, but quietened down later on. Brilliant spot!
