Belle place de parking avec une vue fantastique sur la mer. Si vous n'avez pas besoin d'électricité, vous aurez probablement toujours une place sur la grande pelouse ou directement au premier rang. Vider les toilettes et les eaux usées est probablement possible moyennant un petit supplément si vous ne voulez pas passer la nuit. Douches et toilettes super, pas neuves mais très propres ! Pouces vers le haut!!!
Beautiful parking space with a fantastic view of the sea. If you don't need electricity you'll always get a spot on the large lawn or directly in the first row. Emptying the toilet and disposing of waste water is possible for a small fee if you don't want to stay overnight. Showers and toilets are great, not new but very clean! Thumbs up!!!
Wunderschöner Stellplatz mit grandiosem Blick aufs Meer. Wer keinen Strom benötigt wird wohl immer einen Platz auf der großen Wiese oder direkt in 1. Reihe bekommen. WC leeren und Abwasser wohl gegen kleine Gebühr möglich wenn man nicht übernachten möchte. Duschen und WC super, nicht neu aber sehr sauber! Daumen hoch!!!

Only site on Islay we could find with all services. We needed laundry & drying facilities. Torrential rain. Parked at the top of a cliff with amazing views once rain stopped. A cafe on site to shelter from rain. Will stay again if on Islay.

Good campsite with super sea views .Lovely little beach , easy to access with walkway .Stayed 2 night with motorhome with hook up . Spaces for each motorhome very close together .Lovely 5 min walk to Port Charlotte . Restaurant food good quality .
Bel emplacement au bord de l'eau avec une superbe vue. Tres calme. Sanitaires très propres mais pour les douches c'est vestiaire collectif et bac à douche avec rideaux. Si vous aimez l'intimité ... passez votre chemin ! Si vous arrivez tard vous vous installez et vous allez régulariser le lendemain.
Platz, Aussicht, Spielgeräte und Fußballplätze sowie Restaurant (8-20h Mi-So) grandios. Sanitär ist ok sauber. Einzelne Duschen mit Vorhang, aber in einem Raum in dem sich alle! umziehen müssen ohne Sichtschutz. Was sehr nervt ist, dass fast alle Hundebesitzer ihre Hunde frei laufen lassen, sowohl am Platz, als auch am Strand, so dass viele Kinder sich auf den eingezäunten Spielplatz flüchten.
Pay is per person, £14. Lovely clean site with great facilities. Restaurant and bar as well. Not much to do in town though. Perfect views out to sea.

de enige camping op Islay. wat ook direct een nadeel is. goede sanitaire voorzieningen, maar wasmachine en droger nauwelijks beschikbaar. plek is erg winderig. prima plek voor 1 nachtje, maar niet langer. ook faciliteiten om te eten en smorgens een goede bak koffie te halen.
Relativ gerade Flächen, sanitär alles sauber. Frischwasser bunkern hat ca 30 min gedauert, da kein Druck auf der Leitung ist.
Beautiful spot, good showers, only con is we paid £24 a night without electricity which seems a bit steep.
Stayed here last week. Excellent pitch overlooking the sea. Staff very friendly, excellent shower and toilet facilities and a cafe on site. £12 a night.
Overlooking the sea, laid back place with spotlessly clean showers and loos. I only occasionally use Campsites and this is a nice one. I stayed in November, one other motorhome and 2 tents at the weekend (brave!!). Being lazy, I had lunch in the place which was nice enough. You just park up on the bit in front of playground and sort it out in the morning. 10 min walk to pubs in port charlotte.
Very clean facilities and good location with view over the bay. We arrived after the office was closed but phoned the number on the door to check we could stay. Settled up in the morning.
Good place to stop. Slightly sloping pitch but nothing you cannot sort with chocks. A bit of traffic noise if you are on the hook ups at the top. Facilities were very clean but only two toilets in the men's - could do with more. Cafe looks good although we didn't use it. Easy access to Port Charlotte.
July. £5 to empty loo grey waste and fill water. OK if you're en route to Portnahven. We did not stay. One of only 2 campsites on Islay with the garage in Port Ellen. It's a big, well maintained campsite that looks nice enough. £12 per person WITHOUT EHU does seem alot to me though but the campsite still had plenty staying there.
Excellent site. Amazing views of the sea and other side of Islay and Jura. 12 pounds per person per night. Pay in office. We arrived late and paid next day. Mixture of tents and campervans and mobile homes. Hook-ups on one side and tents and non-hook up on main grassy field. Very good toilet block with great showers, laundry, dish washing. Cafe/restaurant on site is open for bf and lunch and dinner. Locals also use it. Community owned and staffed. Recommended.
Einzigartige Lage, sehr saubere Sanitäreinrichtungen. Es gibt nur wenige Plätze mit Stromanschluss. Sie befinden sich alle mit direkter Sicht auf das Meer und sind lange im voraus ausgebucht. Zwei grosse Wiesen bieten Platz für alle Ankommenden. Und für diese Plätze werden keine Resrervationen entgegengenommen. Es gibt ein einfaches Bistro, dafür im Dorf ein Hotel mit Restaurant.

Grey / Black water disposal Potable Drinking water Showers / Toilets / Laundry facilities Cost per night as of our stay dates £12 per Adult (without EHU) They do offer the facility to dump Grey / Black waste for a small fee if you're not staying overnight.

Basic campsite with splendid view. Everything was clean. Personelle easygoing.
stayed 2 nights. really well maintained. Preebook to be sure if you need electric hook-up. The burgers at the café was great and the staff friendly and easy to talk to. Office and Café was closed on the Wednesday when we were here, but you could always call for assistance.
Camping hyper accueillant, on se stationne où on veut sur la large pelouse, le restaurant sert des très bons plats, différents de ceux qu’on trouve habituellement dans les pubs, nuit très calme, pas trop de midges
Wonderful quiet spot. Good showers. Only a few spots with electricity. We didn‘t have one. So we could stand anywhere on the lawn, in front of us some sheep and the sea. Perfect. Walking distance to port Charlotte/ nice pub in hotel and to Bruichladdich destillery
Sehr schöner und weitläufiger Campingplatz mit einer mega Aussicht auf das Meer. Ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge zu den Destillerien und der Insel Jura. Wir waren 4 Nächte hier. Sanitäranlagen sind sehr sauber, es gibt auch eine Waschmaschine, einen Trockner und einen Gefrierschrank. Das Restaurant im Gemeindesaal ist Geschmackssache...wir haben unseren Omnia bevorzugt.
Great location. Beautiful view. Great facilities including electric hook up. Near port Charlotte and on the islands bus route. Cafe is wonderful. Highly recommend.
Great location and easy reach of the Hotel in Port Charlotte for a drink! The site has all the key amenities and the non-hook up area is an open field where you pick where you stay. The site is in danger of going a bit over board with the volume of request, instructional signs dotted around. We were glad to contribute to a community enterprise, however improvements could be made to the recycling.
We have just spent 2 nights on the fabulous site. Stunning views wherever you pitch with or without EHU. 24/7 facilities, toilets, showers, laundry, brown and grey waste and water fill up. Thank you Islay we have had an amazing stay and will be back.
