our 3rd stay here recently and another quiet night. yes, it can be busy as people return to their cars from work or meet others, but later, it's peaceful.
Parking municipal, stationnement de nuit autorisé, ouvert à tous. Toilettes et réseau 4G correct. Plaque d'égout argentée à l'arrière des sanitaires, donnant sur les égouts. La plupart des places de parking sont légèrement en pente. Nombreuses poubelles.
Council car park, overnight parking, open to all. Toilets and semi decent 4g signal. Silver Manhole cover around the back of the toilet block, goes into sewer. Most parking spots are on a bit of a slant. Also plenty of bins.
Öffentlicher Parkplatz, auch über Nacht zugänglich. Toiletten und einigermaßen guter 4G-Empfang. Silberner Kanaldeckel hinter dem Toilettenblock, führt in die Kanalisation. Die meisten Parkplätze sind leicht schräg. Ausreichend Mülleimer vorhanden.

HeyRowdy26/08/2024Nice big car park, not busy when we visited. Quiet enough, toilets aren't Ritz quality but good enough! Very handy for the ferry.

pas très joli et avec les camions, mais finalement assez tranquille et assez loin de la grande route pour ne pas être gêné. toilettes correctes ouvertes 24h/24. dépanne bien pour une nuit.

Perfect for a quick stopover when leaving a late night ferry. We arrived about midnight, a few others there, grand loos, nice and secure place to rest up. Don't look for views but perfect to catch some sleep zzz

stayed here for 1 night and felt very safe. 1 other camper and 1 lorry was there at the same time, and it was completely free with no restrictions

Ein sehr guter Platz für Übernachtungen, Essen oder Pause. Es sind Tische vorhanden die gut gepflegt sind.

good quiet at night with 24hr toilet,seems to be free..don't expect a lie in though,well used by truckers and toilet breaks..road noise from the nearby A40 but quiet enough at night.. slightly sloping good 5g on EE..

Good stay here. Toilet facilities and free as far as I could tell. Distant road noise but otherwise quiet. A comfortable stay and welcomed after a long drive!

We stayed here one night on a bank holiday weekend. It was surprisingly quiet and we slept well. The maintenance guy in the morning was very friendly and didn’t seem to mind us sleeping there. 3 other vans were in the car park. Little bit slopey but not mountainous.
Terebinthia05/05/2022Fine as a back up spot - slightly sloping. We got put off staying by two groups of local teens obviously meeting up, didn’t stay to see if they were going to be doing donuts!

Free parking with toilets, bins and picnic benches. As others said the whole area is slightly sloping but not too bad. Separated from the road by a line of trees but can still hear the traffic, might be quieter at night. Would have it as a back up spot for sure.

Seems to be free now as there are no pay and display signs, also no level spots but very convenient with toilets open all night. 3 other campers stayed the night and it was quiet (only noise was HGVs using it as well) and felt safe. perfect for a stop on the way to Pembrokeshire.
