Parking is busy during the day, but there are usually plenty of open spots by late afternoon. Yes, trains do pass by. Yes, dogs bark in the am -it's a dog-friendly beach. Yes, you'll hear fishermen driving by early in the am. You're sharing the space with the locals, with a bit of occasional noise, this is a great spot to spend the night. It's safe & 98% of the time it's calm after 8pm.

If you are traveling with a dog you should come take a swim at the dog beach! There is a small bar for drinks food and a toilet. Finding a parkingspot is hard during the day for campervans and entry to the dog beach is free after 7pm and before 9am. If you come between 9am -7pm its 600huf person/dog no card payment only cash! Staying here for 2 nights, train noise is not too bad in our opinion.

Siamo arrivati verso tardo pomeriggio e c’era molto traffico di gente e cani, bello se vuoi stare in mezzo alla gente e se i tuoi cani si fanno i fatti propri, se vuoi stare tranquillo in solitaria completamente bocciato, inoltre passa dietro proprio la ferrovia del treno che fa rumore. C’è ne siamo andati e abbiamo passato la notte altrove.

Sehr schön, besonders wenn man mit Hund unterwegs ist. Wir waren Ende Oktober da, da ist der Hundestrand kostenlos. Von Juni bis August kostet es etwas.

Der ideale Ort wenn man Hunde hat. Nur ist die Badewiese umzäunt, d.h. man kann die Wiese nur über den Haupteingang beim Bistro (ist noch geöffnet) erreichen.

Parking perfecte per qui viatgi amb gossos. L'accés a la platja/parc per a gossos val 600 ft els adults, 600 ft el gos i 300 ft els estudiants. Vam passar una nit molt tranquila amb un parell d'autocaravanes més. L'únic inconvenient és el soroll del tren que passa just per darrere.

Also wir haben heute einen sehr schönen tag hier am Hundestrand verbraucht . Haben für 2 Erwachsene ein kind und einen Hund 1800FT bezahlt. Der Strand selbst ist sehr sauber und die meisten Menschen dort sind sehr net.

Heute beide Strände zusammen Hundestrand. 600 Ft Eintritt. Standen eine Nacht ungestört.

Ganz ganz toller Platz, sind direkt zwei Nächte geblieben. Die Anwohner*innen sind sehr freundlich und es gibt einen großen Hundeauslauf mit Toiletten und warmen Wasser (ab 31.08. kostenlos) direkt am See. Man kann auch super baden gehen, der Zug hat uns gar nicht gestört. Gern wieder (:

Not bad! Lots of very cute dogs. However the no shower or water put us off so we moved along for the night! Toilets and restaurant until 7pm

Pas terrible accès à la plage payante pour humains et chiens. Accès limité pour un grand camping car pas d’ombre . Nous sommes partis sur un autre spot à 20 km

We stayed here a few days without any problem. Our dog loves this place. The beach are also good.

We spent one night here without any problem. Silent, exept the trains. Nice view to the lake.

The dog beach is only open between June 15th and August 31st and costs 500 HUF per person and dog. We didn't spend a night here but it might be a bit noisy as it is right next to the train track and you can also hear the road

Schönes Örtchen mit romantischem Hafen, allerdings wurde wohl ein Zaun errichtet. Wir sind weitergefahren

Bonne place devant une rare plage acceptant les chiens! Entièrement grillagée et sécurisé. Bon endroit pour nager dans le lac. Néanmoins beaucoup de passage de voitures mais aussi des trains. La police est passée mais n'a rien dit. Profitons-en.

Great place to stay if visiting the beach with your four-legged friend(s). It is next to a train line and we did hear trains around 5am. Other than that and a bit of rubbish (there are no bins except actually on the beach), it’s a great place to spend a night. Nobody seemed to mind us being there.

We loved this place! The dog beach is an amazing place to let your dog have some fun. We didn't hear that much noise from the trains. We heard them a few times, but it didn't bother. Recommended place to spend a night with great views over the lake!

Very good place to stay at the Balaton. Nice beach, and the center of Fonyód is reachable by foot within 10 minutes. There is a sign indeed, that you can not drive in, especially over 1,5T axle weight, plus right after the sign you pass the local police station, but no one cares really about it. There are quite a lot of parking places along the street, some of them even with shadow.
