Good place to rest up for the night. The parking is free, flat and the pub is next door for a drink or meal.

Too close to pub seating ? and car park has a large derelict truck in it ? July 24 Didn't seem like a good place for most people?

Vielen Dank an den Pub Besitzer und an die super freundliche junge Bedienung an der Bar. Ein Pub mit vielen freundlichen Einheimischen, die sehr interessiert an neuen Gästen sind. Ruhige Nacht auf dem Rasenplatz verbracht, trotz Regen kein Problem beim rangieren. Dankeschön für die Möglichkeit dort zu stehen.

Bel emplacement avec vue sur la mer. Et un Attention toutefois au revêtement, si il pleut, préférez le goudron !! ( nos plaques de désensablements s’en souviennent ;) )

Hab eine Nacht hier gestanden, weil es zu windig war am Downpatrick Head. Vom pub bekommt man nichts mit.

Thank you to the landlord of Healy’s Bar for allowing us to park in his back garden for the night… he has thoughtfully provided hardcore which is perfectly level for camper vans! We obviously enjoyed a few guinesses and gin and tonic in his pub before we made dinner. He even had my favorite Gunpowder Gin! Nice quiet place, which on a good day has amazing views of the sea…

little diamond here, beautiful views, very welcoming. unfortunately food only served Thursday to Sunday. free motorhome parking. We had a few drinks to show our appreation, locals are very welcoming & informative.. add water & electricity, you got a business too.

Lieu de camping gratuit et bien abrité, on y a passé une très bonne nuit un dimanche soir, peu de bruit venant du pub. Au pub vous pouvez y boire et manger.

A welcome oasis in a place devoid of campsites , stayed two nights at the rear of Healys pub , the beer garden is a very long strip of land with a hard stand for two campers and a strip of gras maybe for four or so campers , toilets (outdoor pub ) available very clean , the owner was a nice lad very friendly , I returned his hospitality by buying a few pints each night , very friendly locals too!

Great spot for an overnight stay or longer. Free parking in beer garden with picnic tables. Toilets left open overnight. Patrick very hospitable and pulls a great pint of Guinness!! Friendly locals in pub. Will definitely be back.

Excellent place to park overnight for free, wonderful friendly and helpful staff, quirky seating outside and the best bacon cheeseburger and home made chips I have had in a long time very reasonably priced. quiet outside despite being a Friday night early September, would definitely recommend.

Schöner Blick in die Hügel und aufs Meer mit dem Downpatrick Head, ruhige Nacht, von der Sonne geweckt (wenn sie dann mal da ist ?), Toiletten I.O., Pub I.O., Shop hat nicht viel, aber genügend Früchte/Gemüse/Fleisch.

You just park round the back in the beer garden, as others say owner is very friendly. He was friends with jack Charlton so you can ask about this. No eating out options available in the village on Tuesday!! It was quiet but I suspect on a Fri or sat it can be quite lively.

10 out of 10! Stayed here for the night and half the following day after visiting Downpatrick head. Clean toilets open 24hr, outdoor sitting room area open to use with tv, sockets for charging phones etc. we had a few pints in the bar and got a great sleep in the quiet beer garden. Very friendly owner who made us feel very welcome. 100% recommend as a stopover whilst travelling the wild Atlantic.

Had such a great night stopping in at Healy’s last night . Lovely, quiet and level place to park but the hospitality, craic and kindness shown by owner Padraic and other locals at the bar is what made this place top class. Great spot to visit Downpatrick head nearby also. I’ll be back!
