while it is very nice and quiet, it is on quite a steep incline. we drove down the road and into a lane where we found a quiet spot in a layby that was perfectly level.

FrenchyLeVan05/08/2025Street parking on a two way street that becomes one way later on, so there were few drive throughs. The whole street is quite sloppy going downhill. Big M20 is audible , but it’s just a white noise. Few walkers, but we had a good night. For these parts of UK it’s a good parkup :)

Tim.Blom18/05/2025The road is a dead end, so very quiet. Just a few dogwalkers. There is space at the side of the road near the turning circle for perhaps 8 vans. On a Saturday night in May we were the only van.

The location is really pleasant with perfect gymnastic games such as a basketball court and a very vestigio children's ball court. Tranquility and a truly welcoming village that can be reached in just a few steps.

Gut zu finden. Hanglage. Parkbucht bis 6m für 2 Fahrzeuge. Nette Ortschaft. Auslauf für Hunde möglich.

Stayed for one night. Very peaceful spot which is actually a turning area as it is at the end of a road. Room for 2 vehicles on a bit of a slope. Lovely village 5 minutes walk down the hill where we had drinks at the Rose & Crown.

Ein Idyll nach der Fähre. Sind um 2 Uhr morgens in Dover angekommen und noch sehr gerne die ca. 80 km gefahren. Herrliche Ruhe, laue Sommernacht, einen Schlummertrunk geschlürft und eine wunderbare Nacht dort verbracht. Unbedingt zu empfehlen!

Der kleine kostenlose Parkplatz (für max. 2 kleinere WoMos) ist sehr gut. Vielleicht etwas abschüssig - aber für eine Nacht völlig OK. Der Pub Rose & Crown um die Ecke ist absolut klasse. Sehr nette Menschen, super Essen und gute Biere. Alles sehr preiswert. Der Ort Wrotham ist ebenfalls sehr schön. Als Stopover zur Fähre in Dover oder auf der sonstigen Weiterfahrt ideal.

Great stop for 1 night on route to Eurotunnel. Friendly locals , great park for the dog. Quiet night sleep in our tiny van.
