Lugar de pago 6€, muy amplio y tan solo a 3mnts caminando al encantador pueblito, hicimos noche allí muy tranquila y éramos los únicos campistas, fue encantador ver el pueblo nevado ya que para nosotros era un paisaje diferente, no pudimos hacer paseo en barco los canales estaban helados, recomendamos este lugar GRAND CAFÉ FANFARE en nuestro caso tomamos chocolate caliente pero se puede comer.

large car park, we stopped in the rear corner. Great location for cycling/ walking around the beautiful village. Lots of boat hires/ guided tours along the waterways. Great farmhouse museum well worth a visit (7.50 euro each). Very peaceful nights sleep, well worth the 6 euro parking fee (on exit). Thank You Giethoorn.

Parking sin servicios por 6€, aparcamos al fondo. Muy tranquilo y perfecto para dar un paseo y ver el curioso pueblo. Al entrar se pasa la tarjeta por el lector pero no cobra nada y al salir se vuelve a pasar la tarjeta y te cobra los 6€
Nuit très calme et idéalement situé pour visiter ce très bel endroit. Si vous avez l’occasion de le visiter tôt en matinée ou en fin de journée pour éviter la foule c’est encore mieux .

It was a big car park in the middle of the prettiest village in Holland so €6 for the night is a steal. It’s mostly used by locals who cannot park at their houses on the canals. Quiet night, but then 2 minutes to the wonderful canals, the other tourists are all gone after 20.00 so we had the village to ourselves.

Parking hyper pratique, ds le village. Nous y sommes restées la nuit, nous avons un van avec toit relevable. Aucun souci, nous n’avons pas été derangees, et la nuit a été calme. Nous avons fait un tour en barque en soirée, de 18 à 19h, qd la foule est partie : nous étions tranquilles et les lueurs super belles. On recommande cet endroit, sans services certes, mais vraiment pas cher.

Super parkeringsplads midt i dette idylliske sted, og så koster det kun 6 euro for 24h ! Parkeringspladsen var kæmpe stor og ikke mange benyttede den til overnatning. Så man har dejligt med plads til sin Camper.

Perfect stop over for visiting Giethoorn. We were going to stop on one of the three Camperplatz in the town but they were all closed for winter and this place was a godsend. We went right down the far end away from all the cars and had a super peaceful night. Perfectly flat parking on gravel. A bargain for €6!

Perfect place to stay right in the centre, walk into the village and hire a boat or go on a tour on the canals. Some lovely bike rides, many routes with no cars. Just tap your bank card on the box to open the barrier. Lots of spaces, lovely peaceful night, gorgeous village definitely recommend and worth a visit.

nuit passée au calme malgré le samedi soir. on passe la CB à la borne pour entrer, puis à la sortie pour payer les 6eur. que nous restions 1h ou 6h, le prix est identique pour tout le monde. cependant, parking central, donc attention pour y accéder, vous devez prendre la rue principale bondée de piétons et de vélos et croiser les autres voitures qui sortent du parking dans un étroit chemin.

A car parking lot. We spent the night uninterrupted. Plenty of parking for all types and sizes of vehicles. In the middle of Giethorn, easy walking distance to everything. We were the only ones here - 6€ which you pay on exit. I think you could stay multiple days for the one exit fee. Only rubbish bins available, no other services.
The carpark didn't look obvious with the road narrowing the closer you got to the place l, but once you turn the corner, the parking is big enough. Canal boat tour is out of the car park to the right, down the side of the museum onto the main walkway.
Sehr schöner Parkplatz. Ebenerdig, sauber und sehr ruhig. Er ist an einigen Stellen beleuchtet und an manchen duster. Man kann sich ja aussuchen was man mag. Wir hatten extrem viel Platz und es waren weiter hinten nicht viele andere parkende Autos. Wichtig zu wissen wäre das man dort nur Kontaktlos mit Visa zahlen kann. Kein Bargeld. 15h geparkt = 6€

Stayed here for one night whilst visiting the village. Car park was empty when we arrived (Friday morning) but filled up very quickly by the afternoon. It was very quiet and safe at night but there lots of mosquitoes! Downside is that there are few facilities (e.g. nowhere to buy big bottles of water) so make sure you stock up before you arrive - the nearest supermarket is a 10 min drive away.
As previous reviews have said the car park has direct entrance to the village and what a lovely village it is. We spent the night and was the only van there, it was very quiet just the bird song and a few sheep. No facilities unless you go to other side of village where there are toilets. We thought it was a great place for the day and night for 6 euros.

È sicuramente un parcheggio comodo per visitare il paesino visto che si trova a ridosso dell'inizio dell'area pedonale. Attualmente il costo è 1,90€/h oppure 8,50€/24h. Per entrare è sufficiente appoggiare al display della barriera la propria carta di credito e per uscire occorre fare la stessa cosa sempre con la medesima carta. Abbiamo trascorso qui solo qualche ora nel pomeriggio.
