Car park next to saunas & a cafe. People were coming & going until the saunas closed at 9pm. After that, it was quiet except for cars stopping to use the portable toilet. However, we were awoken shortly after 2am by an intoxicated man knocking on the canpervan and shouting obscenities, so we decided to leave. Would like to return to use the riverside saunas, but would not stay overnight.
Excellent overnighter. Fantastic Café with excellent coffee & treats. Pizza also available . Café owner kindly offered to take our rubbish.Valhalla Saunas are on site, bookable via qr code. Services include a water font( not suitable for refillng watertanks)a portaloo and a bin provided by Waterways Ireland. Not suitable for Vans over 5.9m in length No wastewater or blackwater disposal
Open car park right beside the river, small amount of traffic through the night but slept well Council maintained portaloo and small amount of bins a lovely friendly cafe with plans to add more facilities in future
Endroit sympa mais bruyant tôt le matin. Les muffins de la dame du café d'à côté sont excellents.
Proche de la M9 et nous permettant un arrêt dans un coin tranquille pour une nuit paisible. réveil au bord de la rivière très agréable. Toilettes chimique sur place, petite cabane pour déjeuner (mais fermé pour le mois d’octobre à l’heure où nous y étions 19h/8h30). Accessible CC 8metres environ 10 places
Nuit paisible dans un joli lieu, il y avait même un WC chimique à disposition et un robinet. La personne de la buvette est charmante.
Great place for overnight stay, very quiet, lovely walks and a great coffee dock beside car park.
Bel endroit. près d'une rivière pleine charme. Par délicatesse, demandez l'autorisation de passer la nuit sur le parking à la personne de la buvette. Elle est vraiment sympa. Elle propose à manger et c'est très bien
Beautiful part of the country, plenty of parking places but gets very busy at the weekends. The added bonus though is the coffee dock "Barrow Brew" . There are no facilities in the carpark but Barrow Brew owners hope to have electric pickup installed later this year for people stopping over.
Parked up in the day time for a break, was visited by Garda - checking if anyone was in the van. No trouble and left us be. Okay for a daytime park up but not sure if you would be moved on at night.
Kleiner Parkplatz in der Nähe der alten Milford-Mühle. Tagsüber (Mi-So) steht hier ein Kaffee-Stand. Nachts recht ruhig, tagsüber stark frequentiert. In der Nacht waren insgesamt 3 Wohnmobile hier. Wir hatten eine ruhige Nacht.
Beautiful spot. Don't know about staying overnight, but stop for brake and stretch legs beautiful.
Lovely location along the Barrow Way. Coffee box available from early morning Wednesday to Sunday. Unfortunately there are no facilities for campers ie water or electricity. Great fishing in the area and beautiful walks along the River Barrow
Lovely spot to access the Barrow Way (river walk). Traffic noise from road at night. Warm welcome and great coffee at the Barrow Brew.
Fine for an overnight if you're stuck. along a main road, 2 minute walk to milford Castle. no amenities or lights
Grotere Parking bij de rivier (geen zicht op). de weg is erg druk, in de nacht wel rustiger. beetje donker door de hoge bomen er omheen. na donker onrustig door auto's die met al dan niet draaiende motor langdurig vage dingen doen. ook s nachts komen er af en toe auto's staan. geen fijne plek. NB er staan pilonnen waar s ochtends een koffie to go stalletje komt staan. gelieve dat vrij te houden.
