Great place to stay. we stopped there last night 25.3.24. very very windy night but still a great stop over.

  • 5/5

The only way it could be a better spot is if you didn't have to share it. I loved it. The cat loved it. Even has bins.

  • 5/5

amazing wee spot at the bottom of the hill is amazing. we spent 2 nights here. my wee one loved the beach. the views amazing and a lovely walk along the beach to north Berwick wee town, lovely cafes and the Berwick fry chip shop a family run chippy tremendous. and got great 5g signal aswell which is handy for the wee ones. lol. very clean and have bins.

Great spot. Spent one night here, arrived at about 4.30pm and there was one spot left. Get in early. Great views and it was very quiet. Scotland is getting some bad weather atm,we woke up at 3.30am and the storm driven high tide had the waves crashing on the bank just infront of the van. When we left in the morning, seaweed was all over the road. An extreme weather event, but something to keep in mind.

great park up, amazing views and fab beach walks. 10 min walk from town and full of nice pubs and great chips. has a couple of bins and parking for about 6 campervans. opposite a business that unload tankers but access good. a nice spot and a lot to do round this area.

  • 5/5

Arrived at 6.30pm but think a car had just left so we were lucky. Brilliant spot and lovely and quiet. Tucked away from the business of town so you don’t feel your imposing. Great to visit Concorde at National museum of flight, artisan baker Bostock, butchers for haggis, and Sea Bird centre with boat trips to see the gannets.

  • 5/5

stayed here for first time 31/08/23 brilliant top car park was rammed but was advised its better in the lower park up as it gets windy up top. 15 min walk into town loads of pubs/ shops etc great free park up for sure

  • 4/5

Le long de la plage. Sur le bord de route mais très peu de passage

  • 5/5

Super Aussicht. Kleiner Spaziergang am Strand bis in den Ort. Dort schöne Lokale. Jederzeit wieder.

  • 5/5

Amazing place! I recommended to come!

  • 5/5

Best free site on the coast. Short walk into North Berwick. you can park on the access road if this area is full.

  • 5/5

4th time here or car park at cliff top. Walked dog all the way to Yellowcraigs. Fantastic beach and incredible sunsets. Busy as we’re into summer but have spent nights here in winter when I was only van. Awesome place

  • 5/5

Stunning views from here - we stayed one night - there were 6 motor homes and camper vans and there was plenty of space between us all. Another one parked on the grass and a couple more on the road. It’s a lovely walk along the beach to the town centre, which is really nice and interesting. We will definitely return. Make sure to get there by mid-afternoon to get a space. Felt very safe

  • 5/5

    Top place! Nice and quiet

  • 5/5

Lovely dogwalk on the dunes and super views of Bass Rock. The more sheltered of the two park up's without height restrictions, the higher one had a better view but far more exposed.

  • 5/5

Sad to leave this beautiful park up. Just a 15 min walk to the high street. There were no signs prohibiting overnight parking or any hostility from locals.

  • 5/5

Absolutely beautiful spot, free of charge. Make sure you arrive at 3pm to have your choice of parking spot. Town is lovely with lots of shops, pubs and restaurants. We ate at the rocketeer which was lovely but be mindful it closes at 7pm. Town is 10min walk from the parking. Would come again, although may be busier in high season. Beach is great for a run and dip in the morning.

  • 5/5

Great popular spot. Not far from the town centre. Bins nearby. 7 vans with us. Very quiet night. Respect it.

  • 5/5

what a great find plenty of space for LWB crafter, lovely views and quiet at night rubbish bins plenty of campers, was people.having campfire on the beach would definitely visit again.

  • 4/5

super view, quiet place to stay the night. 2 minutes walk of the town where there are about 10 restaurants. love this place

  • 4/5

Really amazing beach park-up. Not much traffic in the night, only the humming of the water treatment facility directly across the road, but not a deal breaker. Get here early as it’s super popular with campers. Would stay here again. Please be aware the provided trash cans are small, so be considerate of the neighborhood

  • 4/5

bit crowded good views ,but there is a big drop comming off the lane to park catches your back end if your long wheel base, post codes actually 4EL or you end up in a dead end street up on golf course

  • 3/5

Nice little patch for staying over until some one starts burning old pallets. No consideration for other people. There’s always one. Other than that it could be nice

  • 5/5

no signs prohibiting overnight stops. Lovely view. 8 motorhomes here, mostly large coachbuilts. quiet and peaceful. an excellent stopover

  • 5/5

I am in the second bit, further up the road from the height barrier car park but not the one right at the top. There are no signs at all nevermind any that say no overnight. Lovely spot and amazing view!

  • 5/5

Amazing views and walks along the coast. Glen golf club is right behind you. If all the spaces are taken there is plenty of opportunity to park on the roadside on the approach to this site.

  • 4/5

Excellent spot with cafes and shops nearby. Good access to the water for Kayakers

  • 5/5

Beautiful spot, right on the beach with amazing views. Very quiet with no cars after six pm. Walked into town and had a drink in the auld goose

  • 5/5

Gorgeous spot, plenty of space and right on the beach. Really sheltered, I was there during strong winds and felt very little. The spot at the top of the road is probably slightly better view but more exposed and not at close to the sea. Didn't notice the hum from the water station over the noise of the see. immaculately clear public toilets open during the day in town.

  • 5/5

Nice view. very peaceful. scottish water tanker in morning but that's not every day. 20 mins into town with bars and restaurants. good spot. keep it clean!!

  • 5/5

Stunning views and nice and quiet road. Short drive and walk to Aldi!

  • 5/5

Great place to stay! We stayed last month for one night. No restrictions, about 10 spaces. Highly recommend. We felt pretty safe too.

  • 5/5

Amazing spot, lovely view out across the bay. About 6 of us parked up, free parking with bins, no toilet tho unless you walk to the other end of the bay. Aldi about 15 mins walk up the side of the golf course. Town centre has 3 pubs, cafes, fish & chips, licensed seafood shack on the harbour. Plenty of benches and large seawater paddling pool for the kids. Highly recommend.

  • 5/5

Great location and only 4 steps to the beach. Managed to squeeze 10 vans in to lower carpark with no problem. Plenty of bins around for rubbish disposal. The hum of the waterworks hardly noticeable and drowned out by the natural sound of the sea. Stunning views, dog friendly and a reasonable walk to all the towns amenities so love this site.

  • 5/5

Free parking, silence at night, beautiful sea views

  • 5/5

We stayed two nights. No problems at all apart from slight noise from the water works building. The views are great.

  • 4/5

Fabulous quiet stopover if you can get parked- no portaloos here now. Road past golf club off putting-lots of pot holes, fine past 2nd car. Spots opposite Water utilities building :pumping all day/night- j a quiet hum. I parked along beach road till I could get my spot for night & had it all to myself till 6.30am dog walkers, arrived. A few local boy racers speed up the hill for top views till 11.

  • 4/5

Busy, so be prepared with a back up spot as places are numbered and popular. but if you luck out then spectacular views and right on the beach for a little campfire before bed. We didnt need levelling ramps. A bin for litter and dog waste. Not recommended if you prefer seclusion.

  • 3/5

I drove past this spot today, we stopped and had our tea on the road just before the proper car park and I didn't dare take my van right in as it looked absolutely mobbed! It's a really beautiful spot with amazing views but don't expect it to be quiet.

  • 5/5

Lots of parking at two car car parks over night. I seen 8 motorhomes in one and 6 in the other. just be respectful of locals with noise and clean up after you.

  • 5/5

Wie standen auf dem unteren Platz im Juli. keine Probleme und auch keine Nachricht von Anwohnern.

  • 3/5

We stop here when we got up in the morning note on motorhome from the locals saying we shouldn’t be parked in the car park,As it’s not a camp site 4 other motorhome all had notes lol

  • 5/5

Parked here numerous times, love the place, great view, quiet, no hassle, can be busy height of summer, short walk into town

  • 5/5

Parking along the road side. No sign overnight parking is Not allowed. But don‘t Drive up the hill to the small parking lot for the „Bass Rock“ view- there overnight parking is forbidden.

  • 4/5
