Please everyone, let's try to adhere to the proper and local etiquette. Especially if you're visiting someone else's country from abroad.

Great spot for a park up so calm and peaceful with beautiful views. Hight barrier is open spent the night with 4 other vans also could not see a water tap. Please don’t be like the guy who came ate a pizza and threw the box on the ground, disgusting behaviour

A great spot overlooking the sea. Several larger campers were here overnight! No facilities but a beautiful peaceful spot. Great undisturbed night and woke up to a super stormy sea - wonderful when cosy in our van!
Wenn es so bleibt wie es heute scheint, ist das ein geeigneter Platz für eine Nacht. Asphaltiert, eben, kein Durchgangsverkehr und die Möglichkeit über die Slipanlage ein Bad zu nehmen. Keine Hinweise zu sehen bezüglich Übernachtungsverbot. Achtung keine Toiletten! Videoüberwachung!
we hebben op 21 augustus 2025 overnacht. wij hebben een heerlijke rustige nacht gehad. met een geweldig uitzicht. de hoogte beperking stond open
Wij waren er 29 juli. Een fantastische plek om te staan. Op loopafstand naar een winkel, pub en dicht bij de burren, waar bij de ailweecave + vogelshow een aanrader is. Vogels vliegen dicht over je heen zodat je ze goed kunt zien. Er is een hoogte barierre neergezet, net nadat wij we gingen. Ik weet niet hoe hoog.
Morgens um 6:30h schwimmen mit kleinem Otter. Er war neugierig und tauchte mit einem Plop ab. Einheimische Camper waren ziemlich unfreundlich. Aber ich lasse mich nicht beeindrucken. Hab die Nacht trotzallem genossen.

fin juillet 2025, étions déjà 5 à 17h00. À 21h30, nous sommes plus d' une dizaine, les locaux ne peuvent plus se garer depuis un moment! La municipalité commence à faire le nécessaire : un poteau pour une barrière vient d' être scellé ! Logique ! Tant qu' autant de voyageurs ne seront pas respectueux des règles de base!! Juste navrant, dommage le parking est top! A bon entendeur !
Sehr schöner Spot für einen Zwischenstopp! Bitte wie markiert parken, da Einheimische den Slipbereich bei Flut zum Baden nutzen. Trinkwasser kommt direkt aus einer Quelle in den Bergen.

Great spot. We walked to Monk’s pub/ restaurant lovely seafood and very pleasant. Irish music tonight ( Sunday) . The parking spot is great.

A very peaceful place to overnight - just one other camper on with us last night. As mentioned by others, there's a pub close by and others in the village, along with a Centra Supermarket. An ideal location from which to start exploring the Burren area and then south to the Cliffs of Moher
Endroit très sympathique, mais faite qu' il reste de la place pour les usagers du port. Cinq camping-cars maximun stationnés correctement sur les places de parking.
Wij konden hier niet staan omdat het letterlijk helemaal volstond met campers. Zelfs buiten de parkeervakken en op het gras. Dit lijkt me niet de bedoeling en ik denk dat dit soort plekken dan gauw verboden worden. Wij reden 8min naar “boven” om prachtig, super stil en helemaal alleen in het Burren park te staan. Denk goed na hoe en waar je parkeert

Heel goed, gratis water, wel haaks parkeren vragen de locale hier. De Pub Monks is goed, maar best reserveren. Kleine supermarkt in het dorpje.
Two campers, who come from the same country I don't want to mention, occupy half of the spaces they were parked in... unfortunately, it's getting more and more selfish and worse with some of them. I drove again.

Lovely and quiet. Stunning view over the bay. We arrived as a second camper and eventually there were 10. Maybe too many for the locals who use this area. Best Guinness pint so far in this trip at Greenes Bar. Slept well. Tap on site doesn’t say if drinking water or not. Would definitely return to this spot
A great place to spend a night. Very quiet & peaceful. It was about a 10 minute walk around to Monk's Bar & Restaurant where we enjoyed the fish pie & fish burger. Very good chips too!

This place was fantastic! It's quiet, has CCTV, the view from the shore (there's a boat ramp) is awesome! Has free water but no black and gray water diposal in site. I fished there but unfortunately, I caught none! Perfect for overnight stay.
Stayed here on the 12- November. very quiet we were the only one here. lovely view of the sea. only water available. 10 minutes walk to the Monks Bar/restaurant and other ones. plenty of space for motorhome 7mt

A lovely quiet spot by the sea, 4 vans overnight when we were there. Short 10 minute walk up to the nearby pubs and pizza/kebab takeaway which was ideal for a Guinness for our friend’s birthday.

Nice peaceful spot. We had a good quiet night here. O’Locainns Irish Bar a short walk and it was good to see some of the other Motor-homers in there, they poured awesome whiskeys and Guinness. Don’t park on waters edge as yellow lines but back against curb, and leave room for locals. Remember to leave no trace so places like this are there for us in the future.
Fantástico sitio para descansar y continuar ruta. Muy tranquilo y buenas vistas. Las plazas son cómodas y sin desnivel.

Really quiet spot to park. The view is really lovely and you can go in for a swim too. Within walking distance of the town and a restaurant. There is free water available too. We really enjoyed our night here.

Grand spot on New Pier looking at the sea. Quiet overnight. Ballyvaughan is a picture postcard beautiful village. Lovely pints in O'Lochlainn's pub less than 1km away.

Großer ruhiger Platz auch für große Wohnmobile geeignet. Es gibt eine Wasserstelle aber ansonsten keinen Sevice. Man geht ca. 1km bis in den Ort wo es auch einen Pub gibt.

Bezocht op 4/5/24. Rustige staanplaats met mooi zicht op de zee. Behalve water, geen diensten aanwezig. Geen overlast gehad tijdens de nacht Eten kan in heerlijk restaurants 'Monks' op 15min wandelen, of in het dorpje. Goed voor een nacht.
Lovely peaceful location. Although local boaters coming and going. Lots of friendly Ukrainians out for a walk. Tea room is excellent and plenty of pubs nearby.
A lovely view and sheltered from SW winds. A fair number of dog walkers and occasional late passers by plus bright street lights. A good base for visiting the Burren and, Cliffs of Moher etc. We found a useful 24/7 laundrette in the local petrol station.
stayed the night, had lovely pints at monks a 5 minute walk away. Place is spotlessly clean and very quiet. Little gem as a lot of places on Clare have no overnight camping signs

We stayed a day and a night here during bad weather. The signal is very good and there is water available for free. It is used by local fishermen so boats are stored in the car park reducing the number of spaces. So be considerate when parking. Cars do come by & turn and sit for a while but no bother. I imagine it gets full very quickly in season. Recycling bins near by just up the road.

Absolute top spot. Walking distance to town, which has great pub with music. Tea shop etc. Silent at night. Easy access. Great view. Level site. Tap with fresh water, even had a hose adaptor on there ready! Great spot.
Das Verhalten der Camper hier ist unmöglich. Wer mit einem Riesenschiff mit Flachbildfernseher und Co. hier ankommt, investiert doch bitte auch das Geld in einen Campingplatz. Der Platz war VOLL mit Wohnmobilen. Kein Einheimischer oder Hafenarbeiter konnte hier mehr parken. Rücksichtslos und widerlich. Kein Wunder, dass das freie Stehen immer mehr eingeschränkt wird.

Stayed here one night, was the only van there. A few cars came down and sat for a while, which was a little off-putting, but we had no trouble. It was a little windy during the night but a beautiful view in the morning.
We were going to stay here a couple of nights end of Feb but was very windy so we moved to the main road, opposite the hotel and pub which was fine. Filled up here twice and we would have been fine to stay.

Good overnight spot, nice and quiet. if you go looking for a pub don't go to the one on the waterfront, very sterile more like a high end restaurant. Instead turn left at the end of the road and there are a couple up there, we went in Buren hotel and there was music on a Thursday night.

Fantastic stop on the harbour right next to the slipway with lovely views over the bay. Tarmac, flat space with water supply. Few mins walk to the Monk pub and restaurant, we had dinner and lunch the following day, recommend the fish burger, mussels, crab sandwich and chowder, all totally delicious wash down with a Guinness and served by the most delightful and friendly staff.

Stayed 10/8/19, just 2 vans stayed. Some kids and parents turned up as they were learning to kayak, spoke to one lady and she said they really don’t mind people staying over. And to enjoy the rest of my trip. Good 3G, close to local restaurant and has water tap for filling up.
Superbe endroit où nous sommes restés 2 nuits. Tres calme quelques passages dont des pêcheurs locaux qui nous ont donné du Maquereaux. Pub à 5-600 mètres ainsi que village. Sentiers de randonnées dans les bois ou collines qye noys avons faits.

Spaces for around 10 camper vans or motor homes. Slipway can be busy at night and jet skis do buzz around the bay until late however quiet and calm after dusk. Exposed to strong winds blowing along the bay. Do not park near water tap as this required by boat users to clean off boats. OK to fill water tank and then move to other parking place.

Calm overnight parking at little port/boat ramp. Long motorhomes need to back up blocking sidewalk to fit but not a problem just don't block or park too near to boat ramp. 10 minute walk to town.
